Does Ancient Plate Set give Health Bonus in Tier 1 and 2?

According to the wiki page, a level 10 5* item's health bonus will be reduced by 4.

Ancient Plate Mail / Helm both give +8 health bonus. 8 - 4 * 2 = 8 so... would the set give me 8 bonus health in Tier 1?

it does give health bonus but

it does give health bonus but is capped at +2 in total

+2 in total? like.. armor health bonus total will only be +2 even with ancient plate set at depth 1?

But you forget that Ancient gives an additional 3 HP on top of the regular 5, making it 8. The additional 3 HP are guaranteed, whilst the other 5 are determined by Tier, so in Tier 1 you get 4 HP (1 HP for the tier, 3 HP for the bonus) per piece, adding to a total of 8 HP for the full set, making it 13 HP. (5 + 4 + 4 = 13)
