Ok so how about a sword like this?

You do damage to an enemy and after each hit a meter/counter goes up relative to damage dealt.
Once one of two scenarios are filled, you or you allies are healed.
If you use the charge attack, the meter/counter returns to zero and you are healed a certain amount in relevance to the higher number = higher health regeneration.
the amount of damage dealt is converted into "healing energy" by an equation such as 100damage = 10 healing points (rough equation, will be re-edited later as discussion grows)

If the meter/counter is filled, you (and allies, if in range at 4* and 5*,) are healed. You healed the most and Allies healed around 3-5 bars.

Before I go into the recipe here's the heal rates I thought up of quickly. Will edit if needed.
The amount healed is assuming that the counter is filled to the maximum.

2* Counter maximum is 200. Heals 2 bars of HP on charge

3* Counter maximum is 400. Heals 3 bars of HP on charge

4* Counter maximum is 750. Heals 4-5 bars of HP on charge. Chance of "Power Boost" which will heal 5.5 bars of HP. Small AoE that heals allies by 2 bars. AoE will be a 2 by 2 character length shield bubble

5* Counter maximum is 1150. Heals 6-8 bars of HP on charge. Chance of "Power Boost" which will heal 9 bars of HP. Small AoE that heals allies by 4-5 bars. AoE heals 7 if Power Boost. AoE will be a 3-4 by 3-4 character length shield bubble

Now for the description of the healing effect visually.
2* 3 small hearts will float from the character. The character will do a spin like move, then raise his/her sword to the sky as it glows pink.

3* Same as 2*. Small pink "shadow" appears under character (just like a pink circle) as the charge is used.

4* Same as 3* more hearts float from character. The spin will generate a lager pink shadow and the sword will glow brighter (possible some shock-like characteristics added to it for flashiness.) The Charge will create a pink "shield bubble" in which allies can gain their share of the healing (2 by 2 character length.

5* Same as 4* Small flowers appear at the character's feet. Spin generates a larger pink shadow. Sword glows brighter and has shock-like effects on it. Phantasmal Love Puppies appears on both sides of the character (East and West or Right and Left.) just for visuals. Shield bubble of ally AoE healing is 3-4 by 3-4 character length.

And recipe for each could require Enamorock and/or a Heart trinket relevant to the upgrade (Tetra-Heart needed to craft 5*)

In fact if the heart trinket is used, then perhaps get rid of the 2, 3, and 4* versions of the swords.

5* is Called Puppy Love (name debatable).

Whew... post away!

Okay....

This is a valid idea. BUT!
-The charge bar should go up by 5-10% of damage you hit your foe for.
-The charge bar should not be visible to players. A nice graphical effect should happen instead to show that you're half or fully charged.
-The 5* should have a knockback effect similar to a menders area heal. (Fun! ^-^)
-The AoE on the 4* should be 1.5 squares and the 5* should have 2 squares. (Balance)
-All Aoe's should heal 1 Bar less.
-Hearts should fly off the sword for an effect at 4 & 5*
-Twice as many enamorocks should be used for the crafting of these swords as the Pendants.
-The sword should look interesting, the hilt should be 140% as long as the hand, with a heart on the end, tip in. The guard should be a love puppy's open mouth, and the sword a long pink blade tapering slightly in the middle with a heart in the end. Point out. At each * add a pair of hearts to the blade, so by the 5* you have 11 hearts AS the blade, points out.
-The damage should be a bit on the lower side, similar to if it gave a status and had a fast attack.
-A fast attack. (>u<) I would LOVE to see a quick slice from below, rising into the air, (Low knockback, long forward range, and the tiniest pause) followed by a quick left to right swing, (Some range to hit 1-2 more foes) and finally a smooth transition into a spin. (180° range by .75 squares, only a bit of knokback-so you can run ^-^)

Yeah, i know its just a crude list, but i'm tired, okay? -.-;

-What happens when poisoned?

a. you just can't charge
b. can charge but no healing effect until poison wears off
c. normal but get damaged by healing power
d. the power will be used but health bar won't be affected
e. heal even when poisoned
f. [insert idea here]

*sigh*

Three Rings have stated explicitly that there will never be healing items beyond the extant Heart Pads and health capsules.

@Jaunces B. @Effrul I'm sorry

@Effrul
I'm sorry I didn't know. And since this was merely an opinion on the matter then I guess this whole thread went to waste before it was thought of, since not everyone reads every detail and every thread that the Admins post in. Sorry for not knowing that.

A sword that lets you heal

A sword that lets you heal when you hit enemies >:-(
Man what the heck you were against the milk idea hahaha
anyway yo i think that any non expiring healing method would be OP
thats why i suggested milk, the milk fades out

I see that you made it more elaborated and got many comments already just by making this not about cows T_T
sorry bro but as i said non expiring healing just waiting to get abused.

+1

Make it a gremlin staff upgrade from the wrench wand... I'd use it. Not broken like the other suggestions for this kind of thing either.

but this is overpowered

Take the example of a group fighting vanaduke. if 2 of them have 5* of this and the others have any elemental weapon, it becomes an easy boss, because you can't be poisoned (I think). So the people fighting the boss can't lose health and they won't die fast because 2 people are healing them 6-8 bars at the same time. Then it doesn't become a challenge at all IMO.
