I recall telling somebody with horrible grammar ingame (was it manoyx?) that BTS has very low utility outside of tier 2. The fact that elemental is on this shield is something of a curiousity, as you should never be using BTS on any elemental tier 3 stratum. Also, because piercing damage levels are usually so easy (don't mention the polyps in arena, as the room 3 arena's gun puppy/mecha knight and mender wave are the ones to worry about), BTS barely has it's own niche.
Try not to rage at me like Manoyx did. Or at least rage at me with better grammar :3

I don't care what the numbers say but I can tell you from personal experience that BTS is a lot better than dragon scale shield for tier 3 piercing arenas (wolver/jelly). It holds more polyp hits, and a comparable number of mechaknight hits - even without the UV.
Also, this would be a good alternative to grey owlite for Ultimate IMF where there is a lot of piercing damage from jellies, in addition to the ele/normal from mecha/gremlins already.
It's basically a dragon scale shield with normal damage, without the fire, and a sword damage module built in ;) .
I'm not accepting lower than 7K CE as a starting offer in its 4* version (as it is right now). If you want it as 5*, add 3400CE on top of that.
BTS adds med attack dmg and great players rarely get hit thus the bonus is nice and makes it a very useful shield.
Having max elemental is a niche and purely for display. If it matters a high elemental targe sold for 123,456kcr recently.

I think my offer for a 4* version with a MAXIMUM UV is perfectly reasonable.

a 3* elemental max sold on AH for ~4k ce about a month ago. adding in crafting and unbind, you're looking at just over 6k. to start at 7k is kind of high. especially with the way shields sell nowadays.
Maybe it's high for you, but it might not be high for someone else. It's a fairly unique/rare UV, so anyone who wants a solid shield for wolvers/jelly levels should consider this.
By the way, the more I think about it the more the UV looks to be quite awesome. Even for ultimate snarbolax (which I always take BTS for), or any wolver/jelly levels, there are always turrets and lumbers. Both deal elemental damage, so I think elemental is a lot more useful than "niche."
Everyone needs to block at least turrets sometimes, and elemental will help your shield to not disappear completely in one lumber strike.
I think the ONLY more useful UVs on a BTS would be fire/shock, or MAYBE shadow - even though shadow imo is not as useful on a BTS as it is on a, say, owlite, for various reasons... so this is one of the best UVs for this shield, and a MAXIMUM one at that.
Anyway - if there's a shield connosieur out there this shouldn't be a hard decision ;-)
I don't disagree about the UV being good. I just wouldn't have your starting offer at 7k. I'd maybe put a buyout at 8.5k. the issue you have is demand. don't expect many people to value this highly.
The shield was sold to a nice person who will hopefully use it a lot and enjoy it.
I personally lag like...ummm I have high latency. I play on well over 300 ping, which means a shield like bts is not particularly viable. Also, who the heck needs protection from jellies and wolvers anyway?
Also, the fact is that offensive shield bumps and crowd control with shield tanking is a very efficient way the take out crowds of enemies. Forum-trader seemed to imply that defenses on a shield was useless. That's... quite nonsensical. Therefore, I'm going to say that demand will be quite low for this shield. Bts was rad and wildflower and whatever when it came out, because it let you run RJP very efficiently. Now that CE prices have spiked up, running RJP isn't such a great idea anymore, and Bts is not so groovy is tier 3.
By pointing this out, I made Manoyx a little pissed off. Or maybe I was flaunting my wealth, or just being annoying. :3

BTW like I mentioned above, I don't care what the numbers say; the shield is quite solid for running tier 3, and I've done shadow snarby with it quite a few times and I've been quite pleased with its piercing performance.
Elemental max makes it even better.
I guess maybe you can keep shield-bumping with your proto if defenses are useless. What a joke...
