You notice that the Break helms all look like "upgraded" versions of the Starter helms?

See, here's the problem- you cannot, at the present time, get these "upgraded" helms with any of the color schemes you can pick for your Knight's starting armor/helm.

Then there's official art (or at least, art by one of the devs) floating around showing a Knight wearing what looks like an Emberbreak/Firebreak helm except it's got the "Yellow"/"Regal" starting colorscheme.

So I'm gonna ask a question- will we ever be able to get our hands on "upgraded" Proto helms that have the color scheme we picked out for our Knight's Starter Armor?

Thread name is because the Break Helms are basically the Proto Helms but with little bitty horns added and this somehow makes them 20% cooler

20%. Trololol.

I'd also like the ability to change the base colour of the proto armour. As is, once ya choose, it's stuck that way. I chose red, and don't much care for it anymore. Would rather have grey.

Extending all lines that don't currently go to 5* is something OOO haven't really been on the ball about. So much item neglect.

Color changer is available since last month at Vatel (bazaar). It's up to you if you like the price or not though..

Ah yes, that's the personal colour, not the colour of the actual armour though. My personal is cobalt, but the base colour of most of the armour is red.

I think a bit of clarification is in order

HERE is the piece of art I was referring to. Look at the first two panels.

What I meant is that you, at present, cannot in any way obtain the Bitty Horns Tail Helm in the same color scheme you chose for your starter armor, as is depicted in that image.

You can neither recolor the Break Helms, nor can you upgrade the starter helms. So, there's no way to get a bitty-horns tailed helm in any colors besides the ones used for the Emberbreak/Firebreak/Blazebreak Helms.

So, when's the soonest we can expect to get the ability to do so?

The doodles of the main

The doodles of the main artist of the game shouldn't be taken as anything more than doodles, nice as they are.

By the way, you can use Spiral Spy to view the Break Helms in all the color schemes you can select for the starter armor, since the Break Helms are apparently just the Proto Helms with a different texture applied on them (Like how the Sinister Skelly Helm and the Skelly Helm have the same model so whenever you go into Stealth mode in LD you can spy the horns of the former if you look closely).

Heck, you can even find the armor/helm T3 Cherub's sporting in that picture within the game files... I think HappyApathy took a picture of it one time.

They're in there, but it's currently impossible to get them legally or without risking breaking your game, just like a certain piece of feline hatwear that's appeared in the Steam Launch Trailer and too-many pieces of official artwork. The only difference is nobody asks for the Little Bitty Horns Tail Helm in more colors whereas a freaky turban with eyes and neko ears gets 124320984 threads asking where the heck is it

Oh, you mean the "design" variable when creating a knight. Right. My bad :)

The armor is Cherub's, he

The armor is Cherub's, he made it exclusively for himself. It's not going to be available to the players.

I'm just using it as an example...

And it's not even relevant to the thread, genius. I'm talking about the Breaker Helms and how they LOOK like "upgraded" versions of the Starter Helms, EXCEPT you cannot currently get them in the Starter color schemes.

AND that it's VERY possible and much easier to get them in those colors than you seem to think. But right now the only way is hacking

I just said that at least thrice now. Am I really that bad at getting my point across?
