Earlier today on a T2 depth I
Earlier today on a T2 depth I saw a T3 gun puppy in with two other T2 ones (in one of the levels leading up to IMF). I've definitely seen lower-tiered monsters appearing in higher tiers, but usually not the other way around 0_o.

I've seen this occasionally.
I've seen:
Lower Tier trojans and red rovers in Smoldering Steps
Higher Tier gun puppies in front of the mecha knight pen in deconstruction zones.
Lower Tier gun puppies, polyps, and howlitzers randomly
Higher Tier spookkats and jellies in Cravat Halls
Higher Tier jellies in the Jelly Farm II
Higher Tier alpha wolvers in wolver dens
Hehe that's normal. :)
Depth 9 has a chance of featuring enemies from Tier 1, and 17 with Tier 3.
