Yes. I'm too lazy to type up why I like this though.

but i think only the founder would be able to because everyone in the guild could be a guild master if they could and then it would kinda go out of control...

DANG YOU RED-RASCAL!!

I came in here to suggest what you just suggested. So, +1 to your (our :) suggestion.

I'd be game for them throwing in a bonus name too, giving us 6 option (but not infinite). Altho, i think realistically, just renaming the 5 existing positions would be the easiest change to implement.

and like someone above stated, for lockdown guilds, it'd be pretty sweet to just go with: Striker, Guardian, Recon. [in place of recruit member, veteran] and then just have them as 3 equal classes, rather than a hierarchy. Then perhaps a fluctuating prestige class out of the top two spots.

EX, we'll say lockdown aces (please forgive me LD aces, if you don't appreciate me using u as an example.

bottom 3 classes: Guardian, Sriker, Recon (whatever individuals primarily consider themselves, and they could feel free to fluctuate to whatever they liked at the time.

Officer position= Elite performer
GM = Lockdown ACE

With the weeks top performer reigning as the GM for the following week, and the next 5 performers as officers. (subject to change on weekly basis).

At any-rate, the example was a long-winded explanation of some of the fun, guild-building ways this could be used. But regardless of how its implemented, it'd be awesome.
