ok, I have some swords and guns but I'm not sure what to get and what to upgrade. Here are two I want to upgrade:
Ascended Calibur
Faust
I'm not sure about any other Weapons, I would like on more sword and a gun. I have two wep slot upgrades, too.
BTW, I have full Ash Tail set, and I want to know what I should upgrade those into, Vog or Skolver.
So you're interested in carrying four weapons: sword, sword, sword, gun? Then you want a piercing sword, an elemental sword, and a shadow sword. For the gun you want elemental. I have written an entire sword guide that explains how and why you want this.
My sword guide also explains armor for swordsmen. My advice is to get one piece of Vog Cub, then one piece of Skolver, then the other pieces of Vog Cub and Skolver later.
Ok, thanks. I might have 5 weps and use them for different situations:
Leviathan Blade (I use it for knockback when I have big groups of enemies)
Final Flourish (Piercing damage)
Gran Faust (Bosses and Jellies-Gremlins)
Nova Driver (I have Pris Alchemer MK II)
Divine Avenger (Single elemental enemies etc etc)
Actually I may unbind my Ascended Calibur and sell it... not sure though. Is it worth it?
Leviathan Blade's charge attack is pretty awesome against heavy/stationary enemies: turrets, lumbers, Royal Jelly. It's also good for defense in solo play (but not so much in party play). Levi is also good against Vanaduke's mask phase.
However, in my opinion it's just not worth it to carry a Leviathan Blade. I'd rather just use my piercing sword on fiends and beasts, my elemental sword on undead and constructs, and my shadow sword on slimes and gremlins.
So I recommend that you stop work on your Calibur. Maybe someday, when you've collected a variety of weapons and are getting too bored and too rich, you can upgrade to Leviathan, get some CTR, and see how that works.

Faust
Ascended Calibur (until I get Sealed Sword)
Prismatech Alchemer MK II
Swoft Flourish (just crafted it)
ok, thanks. I will work at lvling them up and see if any one wants to buy my Ascended Cal in my guild.
Virtually no piece of gear (save for shadow lair armors and a few boss token rewards) is worth unbinding to sell, unless it has a very desirable UV on it.
As a sword user, you should probably get a Divine Avenger. It's a great weapon, covers Elemental damage for you, and is great for FSC runs.
That leaves you without a source of Pierce damage, which you can't really cover with a gun, so you probably want to get a Flourish or Snarble Barb to cover that as well.
Levi, Gran Faust, DA, and BTB covers all four damage types. Levi is useful, but generally you want to break away from using it in favor of targeted damage. Even then, it still has its uses.
Polaris is a standard sidearm for a sworder, useful in FSC and good all around (although it will annoy the hell out of your teammates if you use it wrong). Otherwise, you should pick based on what enemies are annoying you the most.
Vog is better for FSC. You'll probably want one set of Vog and one set of Skolver, but if you want to run FSC then you should probably get the Vog first.
