It may be slightly weaker
It may be slightly weaker than the brandish lines, but it can inflict fire status on any swing. That alone should (but might not) make up for the loss in attack power.
Either way, Fang of Vog is my most desired sword in the game just because I love setting things on fire. I actually have to much fire equipment since I have the Blazebrand, Firo Driver, and Fiery Vaporizer Mk II. Since acquiring all of those I've added a bunch of other weapons with my best (so far) being the Dark Thorn Blade.

Hands down, my Electron
Hands down, my Electron Vortex. You have not lived until you have outright destroyed/severely crippled a whole wave of enemies with two clicks of the mouse and some maneuvering.

Tricky one...
Hrm... I have several that I dearly love...
1 - Vile Strike / Dread Venom Striker: It makes me feel like a ninja
2 - Gigawatt Pulsar / Polaris: Bright, flashy, knockback, damage, and zap zap!
3 - Mega Magnus / Callahan: Bring this against Fiends or Wolvers, and you feel like you are that comedic hunter in old cartoons.

Yes, Fang of Vog is nice, although being set on fire hurts me, and the regular attacks are not especially good (worse than Combuster/Voltedge/Glacius, right?).
