Some of you might remember about a week and a half ago I asked a question here about what the best strategy was to solo the jelly king with my gear. About 7 attempts later, I've finally done it. This is a milestone for me, since it's the first time I've soloed a tier 2 boss, and it's with only 4* gear. :)

Well done, but doing it with 4* gear isn't a large feat.
The first time you solo is one of the most important solos. My first solo of that boss was done at the end of my 1st week playing...with Ash Tail Coat (4*), Ascended Calibur (4*), 1 Sword CTR Trinket (5*), rest was 3* or lower. That solo was important and memorable. Same goes for anyone else when they have their first solo. Gz Xatona.
Good job. Sure people have done it in 2/3* gear but that's them, not you.
Don't listen to anyone trying to talk you down about this. It's a big achievement.

When your ready, start the long, lonely walk down to FattyDuke's sulfurous lair. Soloing down there is a great way to take it easy and learn the levels. With the elevator pass out now, its not nearly as costly to die.

I remember my first as well, before the patch. I had to be mostly 5* at that point, and used AoA. Its much more doable now at your level of equip, but it still takes skill to avoid being bumped by that Crown wearing Blob.

As a fellow soloer, I can totally agree, that first time feels SO good. Congrats on getting it done, and not even needing 5* gear to do it!

Tengu, after doing roarmulus and multiple other things, plus depth diving with friends, I finally learned how to shield the most effective way and stop dieng. The only thing different about my gear is i now have a 2* freezing vaporizer with a damage vs construct low UV.

You get more experience soloing than with an entire team, although team are arguably more useful. I myself had only soloed bosses, and not floors. Good job Xatona!
