Bomb UV: Charge Interrupt Resistance

So bombs kind of get the short end of the stick when it comes to UVs. There's no equivalent to ASI for bombs, since they only have a charge attack. CTR is of course nice, but even the damage vs whatever UVs often go to waste when they're rolled on a status bomb.

When it comes to PVP the story is even more grim: The only useful UV is CTR, and even then it's only useful if you're running guardian or striker since recon automatically gets max on a fully heated bomb.

Thus my proposal: add an "interrupt resistance" UV for bombs, which would allow the charge not to be interrupted from lower damage hits (relative to whatever your current base HP is; without vitapods). A higher "interrupt resistance" UV would increase the amount of damage you'd need to take in a single hit before your bomb charge is interrupted.

I've suggested fuse time reduction before. Trouble is that sometimes you do want a longer fuse time, like if you drop an RSS beside a trolljan and need to make it around to the other side before it explodes.

Hmm... very true. Sometimes you want the fuse to be faster as well. Would make the BaB a little more useful... and boy would it help with the DPS of that DBB.

I agree with you with how fuse time should be kept the same.

You're idea about charge interruption resistance is a nice one too. However for it to become a viable option it would have to apply to all other weapons (swords and guns too). Which I don't mind. So nice idea :)

The thing is you are creating a negative UV for some cases, so lets just leave it that way. Imagine being forced to throw the weapon or reroll the uv at punch and waste money, just because the game randomly gave you that on 5*. Unless it's specific for those bombs you mention, wich is too much work.
