Is there anyway preferably ingame funds only to change your chars base look? Also is the game still totally pay to win? due to very limited free energy for dungeon running?

Personal Colour Change?

Go to Vatel in the Bazaar, located to the west of Town's Square. A change costs 50,000 crowns.

Since people addressed the colour part...

Not at all, this game is easy to 'win' as F2Pers, it would just take a longer period of time. If you want to dominate in PvP, UVs are important, but skill far more so. In Clockwords, UVs don't play as big a role--you'd take a few more swipes to kill a monster, or perhaps have to kite a little longer, but as long as you learn how to play the game efficient (always use weapons of the right damage type, learn to correctly shield bump, etc.), you can 'win' without paying a penny.

As for limited energy, T1 is indeed difficult to play, but as soon as you hit T2, you can start farming the Royal Jelly Palace (RJP) and earn enough to play infinitely. One RJP run nets ~6k (I believe), and if you join at Basil, that's 40 energies spent to have enough crown to buy 100 CE (or a bit less, since prices are very low right now). If you keep doing this, you'll slowly amass enough CE that you can run RJP a lot or craft up your way to T3, which is where the real money lies. One Vana run nets you ~7.5k, and his tokens are worth 1k each, so you make ~10.5k on each FSC run, provided you don't energy revive.

All in all, SK isn't pay to win, it's just 'pay to reach end game sooner'.

No, you cannot change what your proto armour is unless you do what Njthug said. Else, to change your character model, equip other armours (duh). Colour changes only effect what colour some parts of the armour are. This effects some armours dramatically and others not so much.

As for pay to win, It's like Myllakka said. It's more like pay to rush.
