Welllll Hi! I made a sort of fansite for Spiral Knights Central, and whenever there's updates, i put them up. it's a community fansite, so you can post in forums, team up for runs, and make friends. Please consider joining because we need new players! :D
Spiral Knights Central
The site seems fine. My main suggestion is that you need to think hard about what niche this site fills, that isn't already filled by the game, the wiki, and the forums. Here are two examples --- one obsolete and one crummy:
- There used to be a site, clockworkmarket.com I think, that facilitated trades between players. When the Auction House was created, the site collapsed pretty quickly.
- The forums don't allow personal attacks on players (name-shaming) or the developers. Your site could provide a more free-for-all forum experience.
Once again, neither of these examples is compelling for you. I'm just trying to illustrate the idea of finding a niche. Good luck.
Since Jim Dale specializes in video, he will give you tips and tricks for SKK:
-Echo from mics can be reduced by moving the mic away farther, breathing should not be recorded.
-Make a script and read it over, is it too bland or does it have info that EVERYBODY knows?
-Intro is short and simple, keep it like that.
-Make personalities for yourselves to hide your scripts.
-Make sure your video fits the YouTube aspect ratio and size, Jim Dale has problems with this too, so this might be hard to do.
-1080p is high quality, but for something that does not need to be, 720p is faster to render.
-If you want a daily news-feed, forgedaboutit. If you want a weekly news-feed, pay attention to the forums for some community news.
-You can show Jim Dale your script if you want it proofread.

Thanks you guys! I moved the site to a better domain, for better forums, so the new domain is
http://spiralknightscentral.forumotion.com/
Thanks Jim-Dale for the things to think over. I'll make sure to put these in action ^-^
Huh... still got some bugs i guess... though i fixed that. i'll look at it.
Low design mate..
Its also made by their web creator..
I suspose you should learn HTML,HTML5 ..
BTW,use
Dot.tk
To get .tk
The forums look like they were directly taken from Wizard101Central and given Spiral Knights names.
LOL Melisan.
I agree.
Haven't seen the site, but I doubt SK needs anything more than what it has now, due to official forums, a wiki and a website.
Anything more they could put is maybe some more advertisement if they want their money, but of course we all hate begging noobs.
EDIT: Just saw the site.
It is quite bad quality, and from the front page it didn't look like it had anything more than the forums here.
Bump to top.........
If you guys don't want to join, then don't join. I worked hard on the site, so don't trash it.
The website's always open for sign ups! Join if you're interested at all!
