Today I was down at Vanaduke and I really need heat on my equipment since I am trying to level a whole bunch at the same time. Then, at the end of D27, the leader kicked me for no reason whatsoever (and I did ask if anyone could give me heat so he knows that I need heat) causing me to lose all my heat.
This is really unfair and I think that OOO should let us keep the heat even if we were kicked/went solo.

How about making it so that when you go solo, you lose all your heat and when you get kicked you don't?

Yeah, thats the main point what we are suggesting since long ago.
If we go solo, its our fault, take our heat away.
If we got kicked, without our fault, we should be left with our hard earned heat.

Going solo doesn't deserve punishment, either.
I don't see a reason to punish players for going solo. Let us keep whatever we've earned no matter how we leave the party.
Going solo at the end of a level is no worse for your party than going up at the elevator, but if you go up you lose nothing and if you go solo you lose all heat. Also, sometimes you are kicked because the party leader is a jerk, but sometimes you choose to leave because the party leader is a jerk. I'm not going to stick around to help someone who is being offensive and I shouldn't be punished for leaving that to play on my own.
If you go solo, it's your fault and you deserve to lose heat for abandoning your team.
If you get kicked out, most likely the PL was being a douche and you deserve to keep your heat.
