coz i couldnt get on, there was only a message from drupal telling me about technical difficutlties :/
i just wanna see if it was a small number of ppl, or it was worldwide xP

Same here....
I am guessing it was an outage somewhere that caused the problem. I tried talking to a GM in game about it, no response so thats what I concluded. I was looking forward to my read-before-getting-on-SK haha.

Interestingly enough, the site and the wiki were working, but the forums were down for nearly 24 hours. That's OK, stuff happens.
What was very saddening about the issue was that there was no announcement in-game, on the website, on Twitter or on Facebook about the forum outage, and there has yet to be a GM post about the downtime.
How difficult is it to post a quick "hey guys, sorry, the forum is down, we're working on it and we'll have it back up ASAP" message somewhere, or ANYWHERE? This is exactly what things like social media are for. OOO, you're doing it wrong. :P
I know it's the holidays, and all major companies have reduced service, but couldn't you pretty please have at least ONE PR dude or dudette who's on the ball this holiday season?

spiral knights is not the owner of drupal so it was drupals fault i think
I couldn't as well, but this isn't the first time it's been down for some time... I think this was worldwide. I don't know which company runs the servers, but Drupal/OOO/Sega really should fix these downtimes, its getting annoying >.<
