So the word over in the Arsenal forum is that the antigua line guns and the crystal line bombs might soon be going to pure damage rather than split special. That thread has a lot of good comments about why it should or shouldn't happen, but I figured that having a separate, well-formatted suggestion thread might be of benefit too, to express just how we'd like to see the weapons change.
To make things easy on the devs, try to stick to a straightforward format, like so:
Weapon Type: [shadow/piercing/elemental] [gun/bomb]
Replaces: [RSS/ISB/Sentenza/AP] or adds a new line
Buffs: [damage vs monster/status infliction]
Discussion: [why the above makes sense]
My picks:
Weapon Type: Elemental Gun
Replaces: AP
Buffs: Damage vs Fiend
Discussion: Damage vs Fiend would at least partially make up for moving from effective (piercing/elemental) to neutral (pure elemental) against that monster class, so would upset current owners the least.
Weapon Type: Piercing Gun
Replaces: Add a new antigua line
Buffs: Chance to freeze
Discussion: Currently there's only one freeze-status gun line (ignoring the frost gun), and it sucks because the ricochets break its own freeze
Weapon Type: Shadow Gun
Replaces: Sentenza
Buffs: Damage vs Gremlin
Discussion: Mender sniping, 'nuff said.
Weapon Type: Elemental Bomb
Replaces: RSS
Buffs: Damage vs Slime
Discussion: The RSS is the bomber's gun, making quick work of gun puppies and howlitzers, but currently ineffective against polyps. Switching to elemental and adding the Damage vs Slime would cover all three types very nicely.
Weapon Type: Piercing Bomb
Replaces: Add a new crystal bomb line
Buffs: Damage vs Fiend
Discussion: The slightly less common use for the RSS is against trolljans and greavers, which this weapon should be highly effective against.
Weapon Type: Shadow Bomb
Replaces: Ionized Salt Bomb
Buffs: Chance to shock, and fix the goddamn charge time
Discussion: The ISB is the bomb of regret, bearing the unique status of being the only piece of equipment in the game where "upgrading" represents a measurable regression in usefulness, not to mention the absurdity of a piercing weapon having a slime bonus. Nobody is going to shed a tear over this radical change, which would make this bomb into a delight to use in RJP and in Lockdown.

Buffs added :1) pushback to normal shots ( about 1,2 squares),
2) pushback and greater explosion to charged attack ( heard people wunt some rocketlaunchers ),
3) kickup possibility on end T2 -T3 ( maybe 50% ) Kickup = kicking lesser wolwers/menders up , preventing g-puppies/polyps from firing , kicking gremlins down (as my mega mag does) and such...
