The wolvers get a shadow lair set, the bombers get a shadow lair set, but do the gunslingers? NO! The Gunslingers have 4 lines to pick from, but there is still a set that lacks medium damage on both pieces. Shadowsun is a joke, low on each piece isn't even worth it. Whats the reduced statuses supposed to cancel out? I would think they are there to cancel out an "overpowering aspect" but low damage is NOTHING! Two sets of ASI vh, one set designed for undeads, but why can't we have a damage vh set like swords and bombers. I think there should be a shadow lair set for Gunslingers based off of the roarmulus twins. it's in the name people! "Gun puppy". Is it still not obvious? GUN puppy. Now unless the mercurial demo set counts, The twins lack a set based off of them too! Ice queen set, Snarbolax set, Armirian Crusader set!

What are your thoughts?

Edit: What type of damage should it provide? Status protection? Status reductions?

Gunslingers already get 4

Gunslingers already get 4 sets to choose from. Swordsman 3, and bombers 3. So we were just fortunate in the first place :)

(deadshot is technically gunner)

But if the devs decide to be generous and give us a fifth set though I do not want them to because they needn't do so:

It should provide elemental resistance, gun damage bonus low, and shock resistance ( a roarm twins themed thing possible). This way, shadowsun stays amazing in LD while this would be the PvE gun damage bonus.

Shadowsun is currently the only way to hit maximum damage bonus on everything. I personally do not use it because ASI medium is comparable to damage low and helps me stay alive and I already have 2 med dmg trinks, but the reason its low is because damage bonus to guns is very powerful. We benefit a lot from damage bonus, and not that much from ASI. The negative statuses would be no big deal if it wasn't poison (SL Snarb). In PvP, shadowsun is "the way to go" because piercing def and the only way to hit maximum damage which makes Callahan fun.

Deadshot is not a gunner set. It may come from the Gunslinger line but it doesn't have a specific bonus to guns, it gives every weapon medium damage bonus to Undeads per piece.

I mean, let's look at the facts: Almost none of the SL armors are actually useful in any capacity, barring Snarbolax maybe.

So why not just make some armor off the Twins? I mean, I get that you already have Mercurial Demo, but that doesn't really count.

...man, now I just really want armor like that now.

Guess what's more annoying?

The Gunslinger armor starts at THREE STARS, so you can't even ragecraft them unless you want to blow a lot of CE.

Swordsman (Wolver) and bomber (Demo) sets all start at two stars, so they can be crafted on mist energy alone.

Oh yeah, and none of the gunner sets have any sort of good status resistances, barring Curse (which is completely useless as a gunner with functional brain cells likely wouldn't carry a Gran Faust as a supporting sword, and even if he did he wouldn't have any reason to use the GF's charge attack over his firearms).

It's unbalanced in favor of swordsmen. You can get max asi + damage + two 5 star heart pendants as a skolver striker. Gunners can have max in both if they use trinkets, but still die in 2-3 hits of a rapier with shadowsun or justifier equipped due to the lack of massive health. Props to those that still try though :)!

You can't tell me that Deadshot isn't a gunner set because it comes from the gunslinger line itself. Also, a swordsman or bomber will tend to not go that route because it is probably going to be changed in the future, as it is kind of ridiculous for them to benefit from a gunslinger line piece of gear. They probably anticipate that, as most don't go into deadshot (if someone is they are very risky). Armor is always subjected to change. You don't go into a deadshot set being a swordsman without thinking that it will be made a gunner specific bonus in the future. Right now, it is technically a gunner set of gear. If you find a swordsman in it, they are brave and might have wasted their money in the future. Same for bomber.

Technically, Gunners have 4, swordsman have 3, and bombers have 3.

And again, you will search quite a bit to find a swords / bombs willing to possibly waste their time with deadshot.

Gunners do not need another set. If you are disappointed in the current ones, then you can suggest tweaking those instead.
