So uhm, what's in the Core?
-
Myself, I've heard it's like.. some kind of a Swarm Boss. Idk.
And that.. King Tinkinzar is dead, but like, he.. he sealed the Swarm inside the Core or something.
Just what I heard U:
...
Now you tell me D: !!

hmmmmmmmm...... what's in the core........ idk really :/ either food, our lost spiral knight feet/shoes, or some mystical power shaped like
a gigantic orb that give all spiral knights life, energy.... Or it could be nothing, just something symbolical to have a goal in this game :p
So, yeah, you guess.
It has one T1 gremlin healer inside who, when provoked, will spaz out and begin swinging their weapon wildly and without stopping.
Their weapon is the entire world.
Silly replies aside, I think it could be a Swarm boss. Or the Alpha Squad somehow being possessed by the Swarm. I got this "idea" a few days ago.
I got to the core after finishing a run and talked to everyone since I had made a solo run (I hadn't payed much attention to what they said before because I always had people rushing me)
I noticed that Vaelyn said something about the Alpha Squad managing to open the Core but that they never came back and left no clues as to how to open the Core. That's what made me wonder if OOO is planning some kind of boss where we have to fight the Alpha Squad, or fight some huge boss that's keeping the Squad trapped in the Core or something :p
Returning to random guessing that people were doing.. It'll be full of cameras and then a fat knight will be in a chair to tell you that it was all a show to see which knights could survive the chalenges of the Cradle. And then you notice that the Cradle is just a huge set. :I
EDIT: Any knight that gets there is also rewarded with 1 million CE. It's the final prize of the show. Yea.. <.< >.>
All the money from some item o ah ( the 10% fee )
The game is actually a bunch of dreams/hallucinations being had by a depressed trans (Notice how a Knight's gender is so vague? it practically changes the moment you put on the right armor) lady in a coma who tried to commit suicide by fire (Firestorm Citadel) after she lost her child (notice how adorable the knights are?) to an abusive husband (Vanaduck). Snarbolax is an unpleasant dog her neighbour owns (or a direct manifestation of a childhood fear) and Roarmulus Twins are disapproving abusive (possibly Asian) parents who raised her in a very strict and rigid, nearly mechanical fashion, and the Swarm is her resulting insanity.
When you open the core she wakes up having come to terms with herself and her past and ready to face the world as a better person
Yes, I am a fan of Yume Nikki, why do you ask?
Mejezfeld, you need to write some stories for The New Yorker.
You'd fit right in.
I keep reading the WMG pages on TVTropes.org for various shows/things I like and since I play Yume Nikki I often stop by UBOAchan's /t/heory board and there are a number of stories like this floating around as "explanations" for various fictional franchises.
oh yeah, and creepypasta too.
The Flood Boswick told me well I asked Boswick if the flood is in the core and he said yes. So it has to be the flood.
George Ivring. The true enemy of Jim Dale.
King Tinkinzar will have several phases, he will be the the lord mender for every gremlin. The last stage will problem when he possesses(I dont think that is spelled right) the Aplha Squad saying something similiar to this: "You may be able to take me down, but can you fight your own kind?''. Then after you defeat them the ''Swarm'' that is taking over other things he could say "Pathetic! You call yourselves Alphas?'' with his final breath. Then you go just one level deeper to reach the fountain of energy. The fountain could then fill up your mist tank :P.
A couple of gremlins furiously winding up the clockworks, and a phone with a pizza delivery place on speed dial.
..A boss that is a swarm copy of boswick? but probaly its tinkinzaar or the alpha squad.
I heard it was a tier 4 opening or something like that.
Also, I DID actually die from a spastic gremlin mender in an arena. I was almost swarmed by mecha knights chasing me, and suddenly the mender slaps me and I fall dead. WTF?
Momoni. The god of this Galaxy. The Statue appeares in Haven and in a shrine in a clockwork lv. The Gun Puppies itself. Cradle being hollow if the clockworks was gone. Echo stones mean that it is traped in the core by Tinkinzar. The swarm being the opposite in the echo stones.
So in other words, Momoni was escaping the Swarm, it evil shadow. Tinkinzar was a member of a tribe of Gremlins that were becoming extinct due to the hollow planet breaking apart. He was shunned for his idea: A world of Biodomes that hold pieces of planets and are in a spinning slot, going down into a core/powersource, filling the entier planet! He was shunned because it was impossible with the limited tools they had.
Meanwhile, The Swarm chased Momoni to devour the god/goddess and destroying planets, only leaving a few remenats. She/he landed on Cradle and found the shunned thinker. She/he made a pact, she/he will create the materials and the remenats of planets to create the clockworks while he will create a dome that will defend and sheild Momoni from the Swarm.
It was a succes. Meanwhile Tinkinzar started to go mad with the stress of the creation of the Clockworks and realised that he didn't create the core. Now Momoni was sleeping to hide completely from the Swarm. So he decided to seal of the core and linked it up to the Clockworks, creating the power source.
Momoni was weakened and furious. The rage alerted the Swarm to her/his presence and started breaking through. When the knights crashed, the Alpha Squard tried to enter. The Swarm broke through and also allowed an entrace into the Core. The squad fought it off but was overwhelmed. Momoni then saved tham and resealed the Swarm to protect the Squad. The team is now recouperating. The memory of the betrayal still stayed and the Swarm tryed to break in again.
Tinkinzar, despite mad, was hailed as a hero and gained a title as King to lead them. He went paranoid and said for them to relocate into the Clockworks. He then created the Grand Colony stratum. He respected Momoni and created the Gun Puppy series in tribute.
Other desiens of the Clockworks worshiped Momoni as a god, hence the fact there are sceneario room statues. The strangers and Snipes left the clockworks to live on the surface, hence Haven. Also Chromas and Jellies in T1 inhabite the surface sometimes.
Long, but my explanation of things.
My bets are either a god or a demon. Think the original King's Field intro (youtube it).

The Core is nothing, but a Seed. Cradle is a Fruit, as well as the other Planets. The Universe is the Spiral Gods' Personal Garden. Soon, the Core will Grow Unstable, Destroying the Planet in the Process, starting new Lives on the Remaining Chunks of the Destroyed Planet.
His true form man, he wants to get out and eat the universe. Or something. (Get revenge on all the vial throwers too)
He's in charge of the swarm too probably.
It wil be something that sounds cool, but will only be available to extremely rich players -.-
Nothing at all, its just something Three Rings Invented to have players play and re play and re play for ever, and players just wait for something that will never take place, not now or in the near future. i say this because im playing Sk ever since Beta since November 15, 2009 and three Ring told us the players during that time that the core was Suppose going to open before the official game realest including Heaven West Side that was in construction during Beta and it never took place in the official realest of the game. but players keep believing that horse crap about that core opening soon. may be a Teir 4 could open soon may be in the next future, but not now during your life time.

I would think the answer would be obvious,
What is in the core? This --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
R.I.P alpha squad
Either that or a door way to equestria, sure would be nice, and hey, we are just the right size to ride those ponies, AND we are knights after all? What is a knight without a noble steed?
of course one thing it could probably never be is that the core is a giant dynamo fueled by the life force of all that is on the planet, in essence the core is not actually the power itself but the power is ever flowing through everything cycling in and out charging things along the way and later re-absorbing things when they lose that charge, its just the hub where this process can best be witnessed.
And as for who made it probably the strangers, or what the strangers "used" to be, clearly they have undergone some sort of transformation to extend their existences that has altered them, probably ancient cyborgs that tried to harness the power of the planet but almost destroyed it so they built clockworks to preserve what was being destroyed and contain what they had started
Right now, the game is made so it's gonna be hard to actually add MORE. (As in, stuff beyond t3) Solution: there's more of the Clockworks in the core! The "core" seems pretty huge, so who knows what could be in there? I think it could be the perfect way to introduce more, harder content - the Knights finally get into the core, only to learn they're not at the core yet, it's simply more levels!
@Watermelon-Soda "Wat" is mai sig. Not yurs, mine. Copyright infraction will result in relocation to Tentacle Acres.
The core contains... pretty pink double rainbow all the way across the skt unicorns! duh! What else.
The Architect's hidden room, with walls covered with television monitors.
Nitronome and Polaris spammers. Yup.
naaa we all know what lies beyond the core.... MORE AND MORE LAG!!! we all know it and we all experience it every day during game play in SK ejejejejjejeejejeje
the final boss called.....CHUCK NORRIS O_0!!!
The core is actually a giant pinata, and inside it is all sorts of candy with King Tinkinzar wearing a party hat next to his Swarm Buddies.
Basil.
We all know he's behind EVERYTHING.
I think it's pie. EVERYONE likes pie. Shut up haters.
But really there are rumors of a boss called the gremlin king.

The core is a being of pure energy, drawing in other planets to protect it. When the Gremlins planet was sucked in, they used the cores power to live on this strange world. However, King Tinkinzar wanted to use this power for evil. He used its power to create the swarm, threatening to release it unless the gremlins did what he said. When we landed on Cradle, King Tinkinzar released the Swarm to destroy us. However, it destroyed him. When The Alpha Squad went into the Clockworks to preform a recon, they discovered Snarbolax, a wolver that was infected by the swarm. They found the Royal Jelly, whos planet was sucked in by the core. The Roarmulas Twins were created by Gremlins. Finally, the found Vanaduke, the king of Almire who destroyed his own kingdom, and his planet was sucked in to Cradle. When they reached the core, the Swarm attacked, killing them all. It Duplicated all the bosses, then retreated to the Shadow lairs to grow, creating the Swarm-infected bosses. It was about to attack, when we delayed it by destroying the bosses. It now waits, drawing power from the core, preparing an attack. The Echo Stones is the core talking to us. And the Scenario room, with the knight lying in the middle of 4 candles and zombie spawners? That knight, my friends, is the spirit of Euclid, the leader of the Alpha Squad, begging for forgiveness of the swarm. The core is here to protect us from the Swarm, But only we can truely destroy it.
I hope you enjoyed my short novel.
I reckon it'll be another tier of floors (let's face it, the core itself is pretty massive, there's not just one wee thing there), and the main thing at the bottom would have somethin' to do with teh Alpha Squad; they're mentioned a bit too emphatically by the people sitting in the core for them to have nothing to do with it; either we rescue them, or they rescue us, or we fight them etc...
I think i parked my car in core, its definitly where i parked my car.
