"Behaving and Misbehaving
The most important part of Terms of Service relate to behavior: Common sense, consideration, and reasonable behavior are expected in the game. Together, they make Spiral Knights an enjoyable game for everyone. When a report is received about a knight who is behaving badly, a Game Master will resolve the situation as they deem appropriate for the good of the community. "
"If you breach this representation, or Three Rings has reasonable grounds to suspect that you have, Three Rings has the right upon notice to suspend or terminate your account and this agreement and to refuse your current or future use of Spiral Knights (or any portion thereof)."
even i can tell that u arent behaving and by now probably the whole forum knows
from http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Ban
"DO NOT:
Use forum posts, in-game mail, or in-game chat to try to appeal your ban. Appeals must be submitted via the above support contact methods so that Three Rings has an official record of them.
Urge others try to appeal your ban on your behalf--Three Rings can only discuss account information with the owner of an account, for privacy reasons.
Create a new account in order to ask about a ban--this is called ban evasion, and is in itself a bannable offense."
Oh, and to answer your question: "Doesn't it mean that you can actually be banned for ANY MADE UP reason...?"
The technical answer is yes, and it's in the TOS:
21. General Provisions
You may not sublicense, rent, sell, assign or otherwise transfer the rights or obligations granted to you in this agreement, and any such attempted transfer shall be void. If any provision of this agreement is held to be unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be reformed only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, and such decision shall not affect the enforceability of: (i) such provision under other circumstances, or (ii) the remaining provisions hereof under all circumstances. Three Rings' failure to enforce at any time any provision of this agreement shall in no way be construed to be a present or future waiver of such provision, nor in any way affect the right of any party to enforce each and every such provision thereafter. The express waiver by Three Rings of any provision, condition or requirement of this agreement shall not constitute a waiver of any future obligation to comply with such provision, condition or requirement.
Basically, Three Rings can effect a proviso to modify any part of their TOS to make it enforceable. That means bending any part of their terms to fit an enforcement.
Most gaming companies have a similar "we can do anything if we want" clause in their TOS. Go read a few from various F2P companies, you'll see it there too. But I mean, it's right there in the wiki, so.
