Okay so, now that you're here, I'd like to.. share .. a simple opinion about the art in this game O:

Okay, so. Basically, I think the art in this game is stunning. So simple, so amazing.. so.. so Ian!
But there's one thing I don't like, which is the fact that the whole.. cute atmosphere completely disappears once you reach tier 3!
You start out as a rather cute knight, we all love cute stuff, right? Then later on, equip a charming chroma suit or whatever, but then.. but then we have the stupid tier 3 armours!

It's ok Martinsen, teh scary SK armors won't get you...it's ok, go back to slaughtering cute little monsters in the clockworks like a good knight.
But yeah, degradation of cuteness as you go down. With EVERYTHING.

I want to kill things and look awesome, I don't want to look like a girl. I want my enemies to soil themselves before the battle even starts; I want to see lichens to split into atoms that can't be seen; I want gremlins to hide in the lockers and trashcans, and throw all the money and shields they have whenever I step in a decon zone while yelling "DON'T KILL ME I HATE THIS JOB!"; I want to see wolvers shape into a ball WHENEVER THEY LOOK AT MY ARMOR; I WANT YESMAN HEALING ME AND PIT BOSSES GOING BACK TO WORK WHENEVER THEY SEE MY ALMIGHTY HELMET; I HAVE THIS MENACING LOOKING ARMOR THAT MAKES ME LOOK LIKE A MASS MURDERING BARBARIAN AND THAT'S AWESOME!!!

Actually, I find that even the T3 Armors are adorable.
That might either be because I like stuff like this and this.
Or it could be that ALL of them have the same chibi physique so...
the Dread Skelly looks like My Little Skeletor.
the Gunslinger sets all look like little kids playing cowboy.
the Almirian Crusader and Azure Guardian likewise also look like little kids playing as Knights.
Royal Jelly and Ice Queen sets combine the "huggable" look of the Demo/Jelly Armors with the bright colors of the Jelly armors and top it off with giant crowns that look like the characters are walking muffins (also the mohawk on the Mad Bomber Helm makes it look like a kid trying so very adorably too hard to be edgy or punk).
The Divine Hood/Feather Mantle/Chaos Cloak are practically hoodies and look like little kids trying to be wizards.
The Salamander sets all look goofy even when they lose the tongue and/or have a D:< expression instead.
The Valkyrie/Fallen sets have those cute ponytails and are practically wearing dresses,
and the Dragon Scale set looks like it's wearing a skirt (and the Silvermail split line looks like the dresses from the Angelic sets too).
All the Wolver sets have those little fluffy collars and ears and save for the Snarbolax Helm they all have a permanent ^^ expression.

In other news
A friend of mine tried messing with the models so the Knights are more realistically proportioned.
Suddenly we don't look so cute and the game looks like something out of the 90s.
