A striker swordsman can wear two +6 heart trinkets, have max asi and damage wearing skolver and having an asi on their sword.

Bombers have automatic charge on their bombs in recon, but with mad bomber gear they must wear at least one trinket to get max damage leaving them with one slot for +6.

As a gunner, i have the potential of having max damage/asi only if i use both trinket slots for damage, wear shadowsun and get lucky rolling for asi UVs on my guns, leaving no slots for heart trinkets.

Between the huge advantage of health and the lack of latency a rapier would give any striker, this class dominates lockdown by far.

Maybe a way to balance or at least increase the potential of the other classes?

I think adding Damage Med for

I think adding Damage Med for Guns to the recon shield would be nice; It would complement the technique of cloaking and sniping very well. Bumping up the bonus on the Guardian shield to CTR Med and Damage Med for bombs would make running as a DPS bomber in T2 or T3 more viable.

The rest could be made up for with better gunner/bomber armors. Like buffing Bombastic and Shadowsun to med damage, maybe adding a "Mad Gunner" set with ASI/Dmg Med.

Here's your balance

Make all Wolver lines ASI med. No straight +dam to swords on armor. Will never happen, but sadly that's pretty much it. That, or make separate weapon groups for swords, bombs, guns, and hybrids, and use % of crown payout for winning as incentive for players to start filling the ones that are empty. Ex. normal pays out less than 50% crowns to winner, but bombs could pay 75% if no one is playing.

Heart trinkets need

Heart trinkets need lockdown-specific downsides.

Possible penalties:
Reduced capture times
Reduced health regen from those panels
Reduced meter for the classes
Increased respawn times

Or...

They could just do away with the benefits that the player gets from said armor and just don the the preset abilities of the class you choose in the Lockdown. I don't even play Lockdown because it's so unbalance (which is why I stick to Blast Network). Think of it like Team Fortress 2. When you first start playing that game, you just get the default weapons and items that come with each class, as you keep playing, you can get new items and weapons for the classes you play (personally, my favorites are Scout and Engineer). This could also be done with Lockdown. Why it hasn't been implemented is beyond me.

That would be better, but it's not going to happen.

OOO is obviously using LD for big $$$ and they won't give that up.

How are they getting money

How are they getting money from it? I have what is considered a very good T2 lockdown set:
Dusker armor
Swift Flourish (Some prefer Twisted Snarble)
Polaris (I also use a shockburst)
Two 2* health trinkets (planning to upgrade soon)

All of that and I have never payed a cent on this game. If anything, I am gaining money from it, not them.

Even though you personally do

Even though you personally do not pay money for your gear, there are many who do.
Many people (such as myself) have made gear specifically for LD.
