Aidan, can you please stop posting here like it's your "I want a guild" thread? You're not sorry, because if you were, you would have stopped FOREVER. And you're not going to get any guild interested in you if you continue to act in this manner. Trust me.
And Oj... If you would like, I can look around for more guilds to join your tournament. I think if we can get enough convincing an prizes going along, this tournament can still stand.
EDIT: Oh wait. I'm on leave. I can still ask around for a few minutes, which was the limits of my online activity.

Revelation can't participate because of the lack of players online, I guess our days are shortening. It is sad to hear that more people are moving away from the game day by day. Most are becoming less active and loss interest because of no new content.
I would hope for the players to return but they have their reasons. I will just wait until more comes back from their break or come back into the game.
The last tournament abruptly stopped because the one who hosted the L O L (Lhykos Open Lockdown) Tournament became unactive but it caused cooperation and allowed guilds to be more friendly. I hope this time it would work out.
As I can calmly say at this point, Revelation is in no interest in this Tournament at the moment. We would like to, but we are trying to sway away from Lockdown as soon as we recruit more people. Basically we are still small at 50 members and counting. That last inactive sweep nearly wiped us out. I hope you guys all good luck!

You've got an uphill battle
Just to respond to Dark-Fantasy a little here, I tried this concept before with as he rightly said the LOL Tournament. The whole thing did fall apart, but it did so before I became inactive. About half the teams were good at being organized and organizing their members and the other half were absolutely terrible. Out of the eight initial teams, I think four of them didn't even participate or help schedule a single match. All the teams that were actively participating had already fought each other and the difference between them in score was stark enough that continuing the tournament with the same four guilds would have just been redundant. I did everything I could to get the other guilds in working order short of spamming the hell out of them so to say that the tournament failed because I went inactive grinds me a bit.
There are some remnants of the LOL Tournament on the Wiki so you can take your own measure of what worked and what didn't about it. To warn you though, your main problems will be Time Zones, Communication, Participation. All of these things will be a huge problem and do not assume they will just 'work out'.
Some things that you may be able to do to make your Tournament be a success would be to succeed where I didn't in a) Promising a really good prize to the winners (I'm F2P so that wasn't a possibility) or b) Getting the support of Three Rings in running your tournament. Official recognition and some serious amount of Crystal Energy and/or Crowns will go a long way towards your participating guilds motivating their members into gearing up and showing up.
With that said, best of luck to you in getting this off the ground.
P.S. Revelation was a fantastically active guild in my tournament. Great communication and participation, thanks Dark-Fantasy!

lolol. I thought the exact same thing when i saw his post. I mean, it is a tournament thread from 4 months ago. One could probably safely assume that the tournament has been played, and this was not a sign up 5 months in advance thread :D

Hey, I love the idea of a tournament! I'll let you know in about 10 minutes if Lockdown Loons is interested. Hopefully, I can get a good team to enter. We are Tier 2 btw, so if you could, let me know what other T2 guilds are entered.
