So I just got down into the tier 3 section of the runs and wondering what are people's equipment setup looking like? Always wondered to see maybe what is more crucial to have compared to other things.
Atm I use a Ascended blade and weap 2 is a avenger, shield tortoise, 4 star chest is ash tail and helm is salamander helm.
So the whole set vog? what about vog chest and get the other 5 star helm from ashtail for the extra dam?

My 5★ is going to be Mad Bomber because it's awesome. Those status weaknesses are so tempting to get; I just can't resist.
As Magnus stated, almost everyone is going Vog Cub, including me. However I'm thinking of getting a Skolver for T2 use (especially Jelly Runs), since I don't need as much fire and elemental defense there. My current weapons are Gran Faust, Avenger, Volcanic Pepperbox, and Vile Striker. I'm also building up Hail and Storm Drivers. Shields are Wise Owlite and Stone Tortoise.

I think its rather funny that you assume everyone wants it because of your videos.(never seen them) And your constant bragging about them.(never heard you talk about it)
I personally chose the vog coat for the +dmg, as I'm sure is the case for the vast majority of the player base that uses it.

I'm thinking about changing my shield to Owlite though, unless the devs decide to make Volcanic match the rest of the set.
And getting a fallen set for Citadel, now that the bullet stages of Duke are easy.
I'll also probably start using my Chroma and a Faust for Jelly King.
Skolver set - High dmg with bonus, normal and piercing def, freeze resist,
Divine Avenger - high power sword good for undead and end tier mobs/bosses
Argent Pacemaker - Great gun piercing elemental and speed lots of speed
Grey Owlite shield - Normal, Elemental, Shock and Fire resist
I find this to be a pretty good combo hasn't really set me back anywhere. if you have any questions about it hit me up in game names Gambit.
It's definitely possible to be a knowledgeable, top-tier player and still garner respect from other players.

Got a few other sets I am making just dont have the time to level everything up as fast as I wish.
From what I can tell, the best end-game set at the moment is
Vog Cub (or some other armor set with high elemental/fire resist)
Divine avenger/gran faust
Wise Owlite Shield (elemental/fire resist)

Actually, I always thought Wolver was popular due to the first set being easy to construct. I've never seen one of Magnus' videos. Nor have my friends. We're probably the larger demographic.
I stuck with the Wolver (now Dusker) because it's cute. But that's really just me.

Yeah i'm uh.. still working out the details of where I'm going with my equipment. haven't tried to swap out the armor or shield for anything new since I got into Tier 2. Will probably go with the Owlite Shield, unsure of the armor for now.
I'm going with Wolver because I looked on the wiki and it was the obvious "so you want to swing swords at things" choice. It also looks cool. The only place I've heard that Magnus had anything to do with the outfit is from his own posts.
Divine set. Shadow and Elemental resist.
And Skolver.
Using Divine Avenger, Gran Faust, Argent Peacemaker and Vile Striker. Mostly I'm using Swiftstrike Buckler, i only block to shove monsters away if they are about to strike me, most things are just too easy to dodge although I have Grey Owlite Shield and Sinister Skelly Shield.
Although I've built Justifier Set, Nameless Poncho, Iron Slug in the past. Sold Justifier set and Iron Slug to vendor due to them being not so good (imo).

So I am going with the 5 star tortoise sheild and have a levathion now. As for armor I will be getting the vog chest and helm. I may ever consider getting the divine cloak *one after Miracle cloak* lol.
I just like the elemental resist it has plus with a well balance of stats to keep me alive and well :D
Divine set with a grey owl shield and if you're going t3 dark city I recommend sinister/dread skelly shield.
Skolver set with Swiftstrike buckler is also awesome for RJ and t3 beast/piercing stratums.
Let's face it, this game is about collecting as much equipment as you can, I'll be going for everything eventually.

The attack speed decrease is about as noticeable as the Vog Cub set increase.
So it's basically not even there.
Really now? Sword Attack Speed Very High is very very very noticeable if you're not using toys like cutters or or spurs. So it must be absolutely dreadful with basic swords and heavy swords.
I mean, Fang of Vog is slow but to make it even slower, I wouldn't have enough time to finish a combo on.. anything really.
Does getting a Weapon Set comes more important first or An Armor Set?
Question to people in Vog gear or 5* gear. Do you get random tells from people asking you to run stuff with them? Or better yet, is your mailbox full of friend invites from people you have never interacted with before? Lately Ive been using my starter armor as a costume so people wont follow me around.
Oh to stay on topic :(I wanted to be as sexy as Magnus soooo...) I use Vog cap/coat, Omega shield, Volcanic pepper box, Dread venom striker as my set. Though currently I am leveling a Leviathan blade because poison makes me sad.
Screw the Vog Set, Volcanic Salamander set all the way! Fight the Status Quo!
Using Faust, Divine Avenger, Dread Venom and Heater shield as well at the moment.
Everyone uses Vog Cub because it's the best thing to use. Pitiful equipment balance in this game.
