Though im not quite there yet, i want to start doing vana runs sometime in the near future, and want to pick a good 3-swing elemental sword. I've played around with 2-swinger, and they just are not my thing. I've got a sealed sword and was thinking about making it a DA, but i'd rather have a 3-swing. Currently i have an iceburst brandish and am not sure if i want to continue to upgrade it. I made that mistake with jelly gear and took it to fully heated brute gear (i think i will eventually make it into ice queen gear though, so that should save me there). I just want to make sure the glacius is a viable weapon in T3 (i have clearance but have not attempted it yet) or if i need to just cut my losses on it and go with DA. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Good 3-swing elemental sword
Well, a brandish is your only option and they are all pretty decent. I do prefer the knockback and amazing charge of a Divine avenger, but a Glacius gets more damage per combo and doesnt have speed issues wich can be great with proper use. Plus freeze locks enemies in place.
I say go for it.
I like the elemental Brandishes (Combuster, Voltedge, Glacius) a lot, and encourage their use at every opportunity. But for FSC I prefer Divine Avenger, because the monsters are tightly packed enough that the big DA swing can hit more than one at a time, and knock them back. You might find my sword guide helpful, but then again you might not.
You can freezelock Slag Walkers, which the Voltedge and Combuster can't do. And since your Iceburst is 3*, just keep upgrading it.
Divine Avenger's slightly better than an elemental Brandish on FSC though. You can herd all the zombies together and use the charge attack to devastating effect.
All the brandish lines that go to 5* are viable for T3
