A lot of people have alternate characters, either on the same account, or entirely alternate accounts.
SK, being a non-class based game, with most of its important features affecting every character in the account, seems to me like to the kind of game where there's never any need for an alternate character, short of wanting a different name, since you can do it all on yrou first. I just cannae fathom why people do it, or find any real reason to ever play an alternate char.
What's your reasons, or opinions on alternate characters/accounts?
You can buy a Party Pack and Battle Royale Pack, then gift the extra packs to your alternate accounts and email all the CE back to yourself. Your main character essentially enjoys the benefits of multiple Starter/Battle packs while getting one of each pack for free (thanks to the discount price).
