The profits are so minimal
The profits are so minimal anyway, I'd rather play a fun match than win on walkover.
Also, imagine being on that other team. I might be able to kill an entire team, but taking over control points faster would be virtually impossible.
Does anyone know when the Steam thing will be over?

The sun is well up on a new year (thank some god I am not a mayan).
What Am I looking at, Tengu ? That pic is kinda small fer my old eyes. 80 points win? That is odd.
But I digress.
I must say, I am glad the steam thing has "happened". So much more T1 LD without the wait.
I have spent a bit on ye old crown sink fer some dag 1* gear.
Having much enjoyment over the crazy T3 LD rig.
Just my thoughts.

If the steam thing didn't happen, then the bored/slow/bad playing T3ers (with their skillsets) wouldn't have gravitated down to the cheaper farming, and there wouldn't be a chance at playing with or against highly competent LDers in an outlet that has less to do with your latency and CE count.
my personal analog to Lockdown is auto racing, specifically rally. The dismantled Group B fairly represents the T3 crowd, with near-unlimited funds to tweak and UV everything, but no formula to speak of. T2 seems more like Group N, and T1 seems like a bunch of dudes blasting around in their own garage-built rigs.

@Trying Golza also has an amazing T1 lockdown loadout. I think it was VH ASI on a thwack hammer, bolted blade and a pummel gun, and he got it all off the AH the lucky SOB. I didn't have time to inspect his armor, but certainly a max normal or max elemental will go a long way at that level in keeping hearts intact.
I'm at least glad that selling rage-crafted rejects is about cr neutral between the alchemy fee and the mat cost for 1* items. 300cr vendoring them, or occasionally a bit more in the AH.
