What the title said. What's a good armor set for me to use? My primary would be guns, but I would probably also have a sword on me for when a gun just wouldn't work.

Alright, thanks for the input, I think I'll pick a gunner armor, and I'm already gonna use an Owlite-line shield.
You probably want gunner armor (Justifier, Nameless, or maybe Shadowsun). Perhaps you want armor that gives you a blanket weapon bonus (Fallen, Chaos, Swiftstrike Buckler, etc.), but those pieces come with serious drawbacks. Of course, there is also sword armor (Skolver, Vog Cub, Snarbolax). There is not really any "overlap" between the gunner and sworder armors; no armor is ideal for both.
So I'd recommend gunner armor. If you want to beef up your sword offense a little, try Barbarous Thorn Shield; there is no gunner shield, so you're not missing out on it by doing BTS.
