Hey just wanted to start a little discusssion on some issues or possibilities I would like to see
1. Anyone else think there should be a shadow damage dealing bomb that isn't a vortex?
2. What do you think of a shadow/elemental combo weapon? I would like to see it as a Sealed Sword line.
3. Am I the only one who HATES heart pendants in Lockdown. Bothers me when I have 9 health bars as striker while someone else is sporting 21

I didn't get much on a shadow damage dealing bomb.
Couldn't the reduced damage problem be solved by evening out resistance and bonus damage? Fix it to where resistance and weakness are the same multiplier. So you can end up with interesting combo weapons. I personally like the idea of a weapon that hacks slimes and constructs to pieces does normal damage against undead and gremlins but does little to fiends and wolvers.
I would love to get my own, but I have a peronal issue with paying for game changing items. Sure I could grind repeatedly until I have enough crowns to get the required 2920CE to craft two penta heart pendants(not including the cost of Materials, krogmo games, crown cost of transmuting). I have a full set of fallen armor, a Gran Faust, BTB, Avenger, Silversix, and Dark Thron Shield. When it comes to PvP Im starting to feel like everything used shouldve been earned through time not purchased energy. Im ok at lockdown on average hitting 5-6k damage with 6 caps/defends, but it bothers me whenI face an enemy striker (or any class) with increased health because of a pendant. The more I think about it the less I care about people buying energy for weps or even the modules for buffing stats, but health among classes should be a constant regardless of items.
Aemicus is right about split non-normal weapons. People don't like them, because the rules are against their doing big damage.

The problem is that resistance is bigger than their weakness.
Depends on wich way you try it it's still bad.
1.You could buff weakness to match resistance multiplier, but then all pure weapons will do super damage.
2.Else, you could nerf resistance so it matches weakness multiplier, but then i'd be able to use any weapon against anything with less negative effects.
It's a sensible balance there wich would require lots of work and tests.
Okay... A elemental-shadow weapon would be nearly useless... It would deal reduced damage to everything but slimes and constructs. There is a reason they are thinking about changing dual special damage weapons.
And as for the heart pendant problem, get some of your own if you hate it.
