A random trade request

So, after getting these trade requests on a daily basis i sent a support mail suggesting to add a turn off switch for trade requests to the options window. Just a while ago i got another trade request and just got mad.
Here's what i did:
-i rejected the trade request
-i traded the random person
-he put in random mats, i spammed the confirm button
-i responded to his question whether i have any swordstone with no
-i asked him whether he has any swordstone, he replied with no
-he said he needs 2
-i said me too
-he hit the confirm button

And here's what i got:
-free mats, which i dont need
-a bad feeling for being traded randomly without an apology
-a bad conscience for the poor noobs with their not so friendly approaches to acquire free items
I've given random items to random people before, but never after a random trade request, it's just rage-inducing.

do'nt deny; hide
My solution is not to Deny the trade requests, but to Hide them. If a trade request is hidden, then the sender cannot send another one. (Right? I hope!) This stops the worst of the random traders --- the ones who send repeated requests at high frequency.

If I'm bored and get a random
If I'm bored and get a random trade request, I accept it only to troll. I don't answer any questions and do nothing besides maybe put in 1 cr if they put in random mats (after having them wait for a while of course), never hitting confirm. I take pride and joy in doing this because the longer I take, the less other people are exposed to this.
If I don't have the time, I just decline the request and ignore the person.

Don't feel bad.
Ultimate troll is if you have a good amount of CE, and put it all in the window with all your crowns and just sit there.
Sometimes I do that, and then suddenly click confirm and close the window as fast as I can.
Risky, but it hasn't failed me yet.
I put mats in most of the time though, as I don't have a large amount of Crowns/CE.
I've had people send me trade requests the second my guy stops walking and then they don't tell me what they want then get mad when I close the trade window.
