You know that not only one seller make the value of an item. I guess you mean DTS, one week ago a BTS Normal MAX sold for 16k ce.

In my opinion, it doesn't make a big difference between a DTS and BTS in this high level section of UV´ed items. Just saying before anyone bring up that´s a BTS instead of a DTS.

4k of that was unbind, 800 was upgrading. takes you down to ~11k ce. add in unbind for 4*, you're up to 13k ce. not 16k. and a range of 10k to 13k ce seems about right.

You're absolutely right... for the seller.
But if you're the buyer, do you care about the unbind cost? (Only if you're a reseller)
People are willing to pay up to 16k ce for a BTS. But not for a DTS because you need 800 ce more to craft it? These kind of items are not for everyone. The most players who can afford these items already had the recipes and the mats of this item line.
Also, if someone interested in these items can make an offer, that's just the buyout price.
