Help me please. I bought 3 Explorer Packs, and sold the Silver Keys to raise money for my equipments. I spent a long time playing to collect enough money for it, and this really helped me. Then, today, I was checking the Auction House, and was previewing a Dusker Coat, when I went to click at the "next" button to see the next page, and clicked on the "Buy Now" button, which is right next to it, instead. That Dusker Coat cost 82000 crowns, now I'm left with nearly no money whatsoever! After all this time I spent playing to get money, after I PAYED with REAL MONEY to help, and then I lose everything because of a simple slip-up like this! The game didn't even ask for confirmation if I wanted the item or not, which I think is a huge design flaw on it's part, since the "Buy Now" button is huge and right next to the "Next" button, and stuff at the AH is expensive. I want a refund, and for the game's makers to add this confirmation so that this doesn't happen ever again, to me or anyone else. I have a print-screen to prove that I bought this item at this price, and I haven't equipped it so it's not bound. If anyone wants to buy it from me for this price, I know it's a lot, or if there's a GM that can help me, I'll be forever grateful.
I lost all my crowns!!!!!!!
OMFG, NO! NO TO CONFIRMATION POPUP ON BUYING!
Just put those buttons apart. NO TO DAMN CONFIRMATION! Its already annoying as hell that you have to wait 3 seconds before being able to use buy it now button.
Or if confirmation, make us able to disable/enable it in settings. NO to suffering of innocent players becouse of ones who cant control their movements/mouse control.
Be more careful.
Don't post this in general discussion.
This happens to tons of players every day because they aren't paying attention.
You can't expect companies to refund every person who makes a mistake of their own.
Like if I cooked food too long after buying it from Wal-Mart... I wouldn't tell them to refund me because they didn't include a timer with the food...
Exactly what Chris said about Wal-Mart and such.
User Error. Should pay attention, next time, then. Sorry. :/
Thank you epson-stylus, for giving me the money, I'm glad there are still people who comprehend and simpathise with other people's problems, and I hope the makers of the game do something about this Buy Now button so that this kind of stuff doesn't happen to other people, and thanks again epson-stylus for giving me those crowns... ^^
did the same thing with barrel belly accesory... I bought it for 7.5k and then ended up selling it for 8k :P
Still people who comprehend and sympathise? Are you kidding me? I wouldn't ask for money again if you're going to insult the comprehension skills and the ability to sypathise for those who make fairly hard to make mistakes. First, the button is not right next to it. Sure it's not far, but it makes sense for placement, and even in a rush I haven't made that mistake ever, and neither have MANY people I know. I can empathise for you though, it does suck to make mistakes, and I can comprehend it, I've made mistakes on other things before and I know what it's like (as well as know what it is, of course, I'm not a four year old child, but thanks for implying that many people don't understand what a mistake is). It was your own fault, you shouldn't come crying here to get help. It was a very nice gesture of epson-stylus, however, that does NOT mean that he is one of the FEW people who actually understands. It's just a game in the end anyway, and I think you need to put things in perspective. It's an item in game, you bought it by accident, and even if it was your own money, it's not worth the reaction. So what if it's real money? People have had worse happen, and not every single one has to try and give you your money back just to be a decent human being.
There are 3 types of players clearly evident in this thread:
1. Players who receive there enjoyment from making the game/community worse for others.
2. Those who remain completely neutral.
3. Players who go out of their way to make the game/community better for others.
THANK YOU EPSON-STYLUS. Players like you ADD VALUE to the game beyond want any developers ever could, just by being a good guy (or girl).
Hip Hip Hooray. 3 cheers for you.
I think this shows a thing or two about game spirit =)
Take the buy now button
Put it on the tab for the auction.
Simple.
you have to click the item before clicking "buy now". They already have a "confirmation" in place since there is absolutely no reason to click an item unless you want to buy it.
something simliar happened to me..i wanted dark thorn shield and i bought dark thorn blade....10k down the drain...not a BIG loss but was annoying...i played more n got over it...but yeah 80k is alot...
Epson for president!
Epson-Stylus 2012
Tim-Bale doesn't stand a chance.
@Babyblaze Dark thorn blade for 10kcr? Good lord, that's definitely nothing to cry about. Unless you're talking about the recipe, in which case that's still a perfectly fine deal.
@OP A dusker piece with a few nice UVs isn't hard to sell, and I'm glad you found a buyer who was willing to pay a good price.
