Okay, maybe this is a bit nit-picky, but most of the personal color features for indigo are actually blue.
My username is written in blue, my dot on the mini-map is blue, and the color panels on the sides of the wolver cap and armor are blue. I haven't checked other gear yet but I'm betting it will all be blue too.
I didn't pick blue, I picked indigo!
Is anyone else annoyed by this problem?
I picked indigo as a starter color when I first joined SK, so I had no clue what would happen later on.
Do you think submitting a bug report or talking to support would help?
According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigo "Indigo is a color named after the blue dye derived from the plant Indigofera tinctoria and related species. The color is [...] between blue and violet."
I paid to change my color to Indigo after careful previewing on all my gear. On my screen it looks nearly identical to the indigo shown here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_color . Of all the colors in the game, its the bluest purple, but it's still purple.
Specifically, Indigo is the dye used to dye blue jeans blue. Think Indigo, think blue jeans.
I have it, and it looks purpley to me.
Some things are indigo for me, but some are not. If everything looked blue I would say it's just my monitor, but it's not, there is a consistency problem. My eyes and the tufts on my spiral helm are indigo. But other things are not.
Those with indigo personal color, what color is your dot on the mini map? Or the name above your head in the clockworks? Mine are both blue. When I stand next to someone who has blue color, my name and dot look exactly the same.
The colors are a bit jacked up. I can understand if you picked indigo thinking it was indigo. *crazy* The cynic would say you could have (maybe) previewed it, but that really kinda ignores your whole point. A point with which i agree.
Another bit of wonkyness is that certain colors (such as indigo, purple, and some other darker colors) don't properly emit glow effects on glowing items/gear/accessories. Unfortunately we can chalk this up to no one but those effected care.
