anyway The polaris will be just as offensive as the blaze burner, if not more. ESPECIALLY when the polaris is spammed. because, as I said earlier the first polaris shot shocks and prevents movement allowing the other bullets to hit. But for the blaze burner the first bullet knocks them back, meaning less shots but with fire. So measuring a Single bullet, blaze burner is stronger. but multiple, polaris is stronger, And anyone who uses a gun and doesnt shoot a whole clip?. They use the whole clip (the polaris has 3). So really They are just slightly different utilities, like the glacius and the combuster. They'd be usefull in different things and have to be used slightly differently when using their status effects. The Blazeburner would be good against the Quick silvers and other electric enemies (as well as slimes as it does shadow damage) and the polaris is better for oilers (and undead as it does elemental).

Now that my little shenanigan is out of the way...I say -1. Especially to Blazeburner.

Why? Trust me, I'm not just complaining about Polaris from LD. It's terribad in CW. Polaris in the hands of my teammates throws more lumbers and other assorted objects into my face more than a hurricane would.

Imagine if people got their hands on a Fire Polaris...and shot Oilers. You know it would happen, too.

*shudder*

Ice Catalyzer isn't a bad idea though.

I'm just going to stop arguing here since you couldn't see what I was getting at...

But, I'll end on this, again- Polaris' shock effect in an AoE is much more valuable for a team and even single shots than a thoughtless fire pulsar that ALWAYS displaces mobs.

If you don't like it don't use it. If you know how to use any gun its usefull. try shooting against an enemy against a corner (IT WORKS OMG). Does it matter if its LESS powerful? it'll still be good. It definetly isnt OP. in LD a polaris(shock) and a strategy is better than a fire gun, just kill them first, shock stops you, fire doesnt. spamming it won't be nearly as bad as a polaris spam (which isn't too hard to avoid). If you get hit by one bullet. you aren't shocked. meaning you can dodge the other 2 bullets and kill a spammer. and dont judge a gun by the people who use it badly.

I wouldn't, and yet many others will. It's rare to find someone who uses a pulsar sensibly, and as others have mentioned it gets infuriating at times.

So you assume I have never used a Pulsar before and not enough to know what I'm talking about, then throw in a snarky vibe with this newfound assumption.

Yeah, no kidding, but it WILL be annoying in PvE and PvP in their own ways. Maybe less so than Polaris in PvP, but more in PvE, again because of the lack of utility you haven't been able to figure out- the ability to deal ranged AoE without charging up an Alchemer, without needing perfect aim, which is less likely to send enemies into a teammate beyond.

One more time- a fire pulsar would encourage spam with less regard for teammates because of the damage of the status. The shock on Polaris made it remotely capable of spamming without entirely messing up the team.

Not as much as a problem as you think

these days most people use pulsars sensibly Draycoz. and also in PvE it will still Have the same effect, just with the knockback coming a quarter of a second earlier and Won't encourage spamming any more than the polaris. The Blaze burner spam would be just like the polaris, Not worse. And People won't spam it just because fire does more damage. I know many people who think shock is better because it stops enemies so it will be balanced out. Not any more spammers than there already is. And the utility? To burn enemies from a distance without perfect accuracy AND NOT MAKING QUICK SILVERS INVINCIBLE AND GO CRAZY, and doing something to electric enemies and (most) construct.

buff the existing normal damage ones.
Neutralizer will do ice, supernova will do fire. Cool?

Reason for -1: Polaris Is already a spamming type weapon in LD, but its status prevents is full use of its knock back, so you had to choose DOT status with little knock back pulsar or huge knock back and no status pulsar.

Add a fire pulsar would destroy the balance because:

You now have a huge knock back pulsar with a DOT status which doesn't prevent knockback.

Reason for +2: The catalyzer needs a buff, Ice would make enemies frozen, thus adding more chances to give them multiple charged shots, which equals bigger boom.

Well look at it this way. How could ppl spam pulsars any more than it already is? The knock back effect be identical to the polaris and a fire polis couldnt possibly make people spam more, as people already shoot in 3 shot bursts and spam it as much as they can, not gonna change. And in LD, wont make a difference either, in my opinion, a skilled gunner with alchemers or a guy with a hammer are 1000x deadlier and more likely to hit than polaris spamming.

Ive seen many of ppl spam super novas, never have I seen someone say that it was worse than a polaris spammer, or even the same. A fire polaris and an ice catalyzer are not OP, they are just normal weapons. They may sound OP but considering the stats and effect of the guns, they are reasonable weapons. Like if you were to describe some of the weapons that we have now that be considered regular weapons, theyd sound a bit OP too. A gun thats bullets ricochet (alchemers) or a bomb that freezes everything (shiver). A fire polaris (shadow) would be creating a variation of a weapon that would be useful as a shadow gun, besides there are only 4 5 star shadow guns, 2 are almost never used (catalyzers). And the other two are very fast weapons.

And an ice catalyzer would just bring more use to an unused gun line.

Btw endothermic is a chemistry term, you could probably find it in a childs chemistry book. Basically an endothermic reaction makes things colder by removing their heat. And irthan, its a catalyzer not pulsar. And draycos in Ld many players have good shock resist and fire lowers the health enough for things to be killed in 1 hit rather than 2, where shock may not, just like a polaris if you use it right it helps the team.

because using 3 is dumb and suicidal. you reaload. which means that that faust hit is for you.
anyway, a fire pulsar would be OP. you whould just corner someone and watch it die for fire. at least shock can interrupt knockback.

And fire doesnt do any/much more damage than shock. I dont hear people saying that the magma driver is an OP version of the storm driver, damage wise and knockback wise, they are pretty much the same.

Yeah making those 2 lines do status's works too, itll make them used more but. PPl dont have a real problem with new lines.only the minor change of a status effect.
