With a ton of threads about energy, crystals, weapons, levels and everything else I'm sure these have gotten your brains working at Three Rings. What I would like to see is a thread dedicated to whats coming soon, whats on the drawing board and what you guys over at Three Rings won't be putting or changing in the game.

This will help us, the players understand what we can expect in the future and what people can stop asking for. Seems to be a endless supply of the same three/four wants and improvements the players are asking for.

So a simple thread, locked, stickied, tell us whats coming! When advancements are gonna be out and what in the long run you plan to do with this game.

I fully agree with this proposal! We should have "engineering" reports letting us know what's going on and what the programmers are thinking of doing... What else is this suggestion forum for if we never know if our suggestions are heard?

Sadly, though, I'm sure people will continue to complain about energy. Even if the devs outright say they're not changing the system (considering I'm fairly certain that they already changed it when it came out of beta), I can still see people begging them to lower the costs/get rid of energy all together. ):

But I would definitely like to see a sticky about what kinds of things they plan on adding! :D

The Energy system that's

The Energy system that's currently in place is the same system that's been going since October (that "beta" as people call it). Recipe crafting costs were tweaked down and revive costs got a cap. Yet, somehow, the Clockworks keeps turning.

The repeat suggestions can be avoided once players notice that neat little search box in the upper right.

I wish they had a forum representative. Back at Gearbox Forums (makers of Borderlands), they had a moderator who spent most of her time just moderating the idiots, but would occasionally pop in to remind us that people were still working on the game.

Perhaps they can take a page from Jagex. Their Behind the Scenes updates at the beginning of every month really help build anticipation for future updates and keep players interested.

I agree with this. There doesn't seem to be any real interaction with the staff and the community right now. It's really kind of worrisome, as I'm afraid I will play the game for a couple weeks then drop out because I haven't heard about any new stuff coming and I'm done with the old content.

A calender that at least tells us what month to expect an event would be nice, but that would also promote inactivity for times of non-events. also many of the Features that were promised to be in by release are still MIA.

Its a real concern for people

Its a real concern for people to worry about the game they are playing when no information is being given out by the staff on what is going on.

I know people are getting bored with this game already, a lot of the people already have 5 star everything and are just doing nothing other then crafting and making money and energy. So it would be nice to get a update on whats new, upcoming and planned so people will stay around.

They're a small team

Unlike many other game developers, they're a small team. I'd rather they just focus on further developing the game than have to constantly appease and reassure the customers. The issue is that no matter what they might say in such a progress report someone will always be unhappy and complain about what they're doing (or not doing, or not doing enough yet). They would then have to spend more resources responding to such complaints or those people would pull the "they're not listening to us" card anyway.

I for one would greatly appreciate it if the dev's would open up a new thread that is locked, to announce new updates, upgrades, advancements, and all around info on what they plan to do with this game, and how much of the players suggestions are actually being used.
