My mouse has side buttons (button 4 and button 5) which are commonly used as forward and back in web browsers. When trying to configure them in the game UI the game does not recognize their input so I can't config them to anything. (I want to use them as shield and strafe)

Also, I demand a "Frosty Wolver Tail" complete with frost/shine effect to match Skolver. :P
None of the existing standard styles match Skolver at all except for maybe Prismatic, but that makes it ugly with personal color... :(

yeah kinda, but the gray in

yeah kinda, but the gray in it and Prismatic kinda make it not match as good as the others do. Heck, Dusky already seems like a Perfect match for a "Rabid Wolver" set should such a think ever be made...
Regardless, this "Frosty Wolver Tail" suggestion was ment to be in jest (but I would be completely for it). I wasn't being completely serious. But side mouse buttons is a must.

You may want to associate

You may want to associate that button with your mouses preferences. not SK's preferences.. I got a Razer with the side buttons, and since I use space bar for blocking, I told the Razer preferences to make my bottom side button = space as well. Works great for me.

but that would break

but that would break compatibility with programs that actually support the side buttons, and not everybody has a razer, as only razers (iirc) have button remapping support in the drivers. and some razers like the Death Adder can't remap mouse buttons to keyboard buttons iirc.
It shouldn't be to hard for OOO to support the side mouse buttons proper.

I remapped the side buttons

I remapped the side buttons on my logitech to key presses. I think the logitech software supports per-application mappings but since my PC is just a wintendo I haven't looked into it too deeply.
