It's sometimes better to pot shot these guys, instead of trying to tun through bullet hell.

I was looking at the black hawk since i dont have an anti beast weapon, but then gun puppies resist piercing. So i was thinking Silversix even though beasts are weak to ele.

So would a straight elemental weapon be better? and would a particular effect would be best? Fire, Stun, electric?

My friend who's playing with

My friend who's playing with range has had fun with the Firotech Alchemer in this area. Partly because it's effective, and partly because we like seeing the gun puppies become little torches.

Ditto to the Firotech

Ditto to the Firotech Alchemer. If you upgrade it, the bullets will bounce off Gun Puppies and potentially hit other Gun Puppies/enemies/obstacles.

where were you guys when i asked if i should keep my firotech alchemer recipes!!

gun-puppies were one of my bigger concerns for dealing with in a non-sword manner.. i'm going to be trying the cryotech route myself

I've actually taken a liking

I've actually taken a liking to Voltech Alchemers.
If you shock the turret, its fire rate decreases. And you get a little DPS tick on the side.
It's probably incomparable to Fire's DPS, but they fire slower. Less bullets to deal with!

Storm Driver or Valiance.

Storm Driver or Valiance. Argent is also do-able, but may take a little longer, but is one of the two end-game weapons so you'll probably get it either way.

Voltech or Cryotech Alchemers

Voltech or Cryotech Alchemers work well. If you shock one, they shoot slower and take a bit more damage. If you freeze one, it can't turn, so you can just get behind it and fire away.

elemental damage

Any alchemer. Fire kills them faster, volt interrupts their attacks at times, and ice makes them unable to turn.

[Alchimer] Driver. If you aim

[Alchimer] Driver.
If you aim the charged shot correctly (which by the way splits into 4 alchimer bullets that can bounce) then there's a good chance that the bullets will bounce INSIDE the Gun Puppy.
