Curious about what kind of numbers other people are getting vs the duke's mask.

I am hitting:

Leviathan 5* L10
DMG: Med, CTR: Max, ASI: VH
Charge ~ 444 x3 = 1332

What kind of number are you guys getting with the Blitz Needle charge? or DVS charge?

I know there are older similar discussions, but with a game that is constantly being updated it is better to have currant numbers.

Mostly curious about Levi charge vs Blitz Needle charge to see who should be watering and who should be hitting. I've been laughed at for suggesting Levi on the mask before, but the Mask is slightly Normal weak (maybe that person was ignorant of that weakness and thought Vana was just Piercing weak across the board, did not have time to discuss it with them). I know I slaughter the Mask super fast solo with my Levi, but I have not crafted my Blitz yet (holding out for UV CTR).

Levi is the best weapon for the mask. Who's laughing at you for suggesting it?

I'm not sure the specific value but I think my Blitz deals 125-140ish per hit with a medium damage bonus. I think it's either 126 or 136, but not sure. Times 12 hits, that's pretty good damage, but it's unwieldy and you can only get off one shot per watering.

It was a friend with a Blitz who thought I should water while he charged in a 2 man... I thought he was crazy, but did not have time to debate it. Was just wondering if he knew something that I did not, because I have not crafted my Blitz yet to know first hand.

Yeah, between the Max CTR and VH ASI I run my Levi with I can get off a couple charges if somebody else waters or at least a hit charge hit.

I also have a Vile Striker (unbound drop) and a DVS recipe gathering dust in my arsenal that I was thinking of putting together for a Mask buster. Just for fun, the Mask goes really quick already.

From the last time I tried, a Blitz Needle Charge on the mask is 95x15 = 1425 damage with no damage bonus.

Considering it's easy (for me at least) to place 2 charge per watering with Leviathan but it's not (if not impossible) with Blitz, I prefer to use the Leviathan for the mask. I don't yet have a DVS, so no opinion on it at the moment.

Actually, while we are at it, did you compare the opportunity of using normal attacks against charge attacks ? I suspect charging will land much higher dps, but I would love some numbers to prove it.

Just ran Vana. My Blitz deals 112 with a medium damage bonus. With a medium CTR bonus in addition to the natural CTR, it's possible to get off two full charge clips on the mask, but you have to execute it perfectly (and get somebody else to water for you while you charge up).

112 x 15 = 1680, twice. If the Blitzer is a gunner and equips gun trinkets (one damage, one CTR), and executes the attack perfectly.

Had the same thought about Max ASI just swinging vs Charge. My gut tells me the charge will win, but I would need to adjust my Loadout to test this.

So, it looks like the 2 options are pretty comparable depending on which one is more heavily buffed with a fully buffed Blitz having a bit more damage.

I think it depends a lot on your ASI, CTR and Dmg bonuses, but I would wager with Max ASI and Max CTR charging would be best since ASI also speeds up the animation of the charge attack.

Poison takes huge factor, it would be helpful if one of you bring dread venom striker. On blitz charge, the (vh) damage increase from 126 to 167 (poisoned). I think you should have some ctr uv on whatever weapon to get 2 charge attack on one go. Blitz charge has 15 shot, not 12, said wiki.

Antigua(Lvl 10) does 20 to vana and 18 to the mask. :)
Can't remember off the top of my head what the others do.

I just wanted to add that I haven't been able to repeat my performance with the Blitz against the mask. Getting off two good Blitz hits is extremely difficult, mainly because the mask's movement is erratic and jamming the gun down its throat takes time to aim.
