hello, as the subject states, I do not understand how to make a spiral knights steam account meaning logging into spiral knights via steam. I downloaded SK through steam, I made my character, and when I pressed logoff it only asked for a user name email etc. but never an option to merge with my steam account. I know there has been a few posts stating that in options>prompts i should turn on the options on using a steam account but in my options there was never that to begin with. I have a steam account, I also have a SK account, I just want to merge them together and I heard that it's possible. am i missing something? can anyone help me please.

I don't use steam myself. Maybe it would be easier just to create a regular account?
When loading up via Steam you have two different ways of playing. As you stated you have a SK account, you already know how that works.
Logging in via Steam, the login screen will have an extra login Via Steam check box. That prompts the game to check with steam to see if you are logged in and if so, it passes along your steam id (steam:[Really long bunch of numbers])
If you open SK from Steam, it tends to like to auto login. You can hit logout from the options menu or back at the character selection screen.
It seems like from what you said, you either made a character in your via your steam account or played a non steam version as a guest first.
Either way, you want to open up the Steam Game and Log out!
Log back in with your SK Username and Password and it *should* prompt you if you want to convert.
I cannot say for sure as I saw the prompt once and told it not to pop up again as I wanted two separate accounts.
