there are a few too many people who say a certain process for making easy crowns i say just play the way your meant to and of course play with friend and strangers every now and then
do crowns really matter that much none of the crown guides are fool proof and most only work if 1) you have time (2) you usually need crowns (3) you need to have friends in good places and are constantly in the depths and a lot of them helps.
not a single crown guide seems to understand that there are those who do not understand that so many use these guides constantly and thus the more who use crown guides the less profitable it becomes to do the same crown guide as you so it should be that crown guides become pointless unless you do a completely free run
even though i am doing a complete free run in other words no using real world money I would not use a crown guide because almost everyone uses them and it would be less profitable for me to use them for how the guides are telling you how to make profit
most people know that to make a profit worthy of crown guide it should be at least 1.5X the original amount spent to 2-4.5X; higher than 2.5X crowns and the 2.5x itself is rarer than you think but some are insane enough you would spend more than earning at a certain point thus crown guides are unnecessary once you have reliable gear and friends to go for runs

why stop at floor 16? Just go to the Subtown.
And you can only do that 3 floor loop 3 times before you have to dip into CE.
Well the 3 floor run is only for boss runs since they make the most money. And dipping into ce is part of this plan. You can make more money by spending ce.
for tier2? farm royal jelly run. easy quick, enjoyable crowns.
My greatest pet peeve is when I randomly get invaded by several of my friends/guild-mates who just wanted a free ride through the clockworks. Please, please, PLEASE ask the person before you randomly join them.
I like helping new players, but I hate it when they start invading me when I'm trying to do Firestorm Citadel, or when I'm going achievement hunting, or when I'm doing a run with just some close friends.
Yes, I can lock the party, but its not like I hate my friends. They are FRIENDS! I just think its a bit impolite to just randomly join a friend. It's like I ordered Pizza, and randomly two of my friends walk through the door and start eating the Pizza with me. They are my friends and I would of shared said Pizza with them, but asking first would be nice. Walking in randomly is just rude IMO.

Im a noob... i just started playing like a week or two ago, but it seems to me that the rise or fall mission in 5-2 is pretty good for crowns. I just got to it and I got 3.5 k crowns on it. (i died 2 times so i had to waste 15 energy but it seems to me that if you don't die it will be worth it. ) You can repeat it 2 times, them get crystal energy like mentioned above, them keep doing that getting more and more energy along the way. There are probably much better ways, but this is the only way i know of for now since i only do the missions.
It's better to consistently make a small amount of resources by yourself than to rely on others.
