I'm still a swordsman!
But My levi blade is getting verrryy poor usage.
So I am switching it for a gun...
But which one?
I am hoping The option isn't
POLARIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111!1111111111111!
And no others...
Best Sidearm?
Alchemer. Love mine, its great for puppies and lumbers.
Polaris is decent as a sidearm, as long as you learn to wield it.
I use 4 weapon slots ands 2 trinket slots.
I can cross the Freeze one off as I use a glacius, and the fire doesn' seem...useful vs turrents, so I'll probably use Storm driver, as polaris...is...eh...expensive.
Fire is useful against turrets. Main reason magma driver is looked down on is how underperforming it is in FSC. Polaris technically isnt expensive. there tons of recipes for the polaris line on ah, and you should be diving anyways. Its just a matter of which gate you wish to dive in.
I believe he means how it's 15 tokens to get the Pulsar itself, or 30K out of your wallet.
The other common sidearm I see for Swordsmen is Argent Peacemaker, but I think Polaris and the Alchemers are better.
I've invested in a Volt Line right now.
Playing through snarby with my mist alt to get crowns to get the recepies.
Also I find tier 3 terrifying.
I go tier 2 until I get my stuff to lv. 10 :(
Alchemers are indeed quite awesome, say my cryo driver is awesome in fsc. Also, you can get multiple hits in from ricochet, working great on turrets and lumbers.since you have 4 slots, i suggest you carry 2 alchemers to have a wide range of statuses (wait since you have glacius, that would be elemental overdose). But having 2 alchemers you can switch up is not a bad idea so that you can always inflict status
The answer is an elemental gun, because swords have difficulty against turrets, and all turrets are vulnerable or neutral to elemental damage. You have five choices: Nova Driver, Storm Driver, Magma Driver, Hail Driver, and Polaris. The relative merits of these have been debated in many threads.
Edit: If you have only two weapon slots, and your other weapon is also elemental, then we have to rethink.
