So, I got a sealed sword with jelly gems and wanted to sell it. I but first I wen't and got a variant from the variant vendor and now all of a sudden I can't sell it in the auction house because apparently it's bound to me, even though I have never equipped it. So if there's someone who could help like a GM I would be eternally grateful.

Token items bind on purchase. Not a technical issue, it's intentional.
