Buffs and nerfs, complaints on both sides

Go back through the forums a while and read some threads. Whining conspiracy theories abounded that OOO was purposely buffing monsters with cheap attacks so that parties would wipe more often and spend more CE=$$$. Pure hogwash.
Now look through the recent threads and read the whining about those same cheap attacks getting nerfed.
Just sit back and think about that for a minute before writing out your next rage thread.

Your statement is not valid unless the same persons who supposedly complained about monster beeing too hard are now complaining about the nerf. If not then no point in puting together diffrent people with different opinions. Tbh, a lot of people complained about laggs, some indeed said these laggs was meant by OOO to make u waste CE which I agree with you is ridiculous, but people complaining about retrodes, zombies and gremlins? Never heard about this -.-
I'm still wondering what was cheap with retrodes and zombies...I've been playing this game for a long time, probably longer then you are, and these never caused me a problem. They weren't broken. Only the Slag Guards hitting you with their back was kinda cheap.
Was the JK broken too? Is it normal even in a party of four, only one person needs to hit it to make it spin now? Why they nerfed the Shadow Lair? List goes on.
Or people don't have the right to complain about anything anymore without beeing called ragers? I'm one of these people that find this update ridiculous. I've never complained about monsters beeing too hard. Nore about laggs. But this, this is just stupid. Probably gonna be away for months again until something consistent comes out.

People with higher latency had a lot of problems with retrodes and zombies. With the auto-attack on spawn and their gigantic hitbox, there's a lot of instances where we would get hit with very little reason why. We would be running from them and be 3 or 4 lengths away and still get clawed, or somehow a retrode beam would come out of nowhere and hit us before the graphic popped up. I like the patch for that. I was long chafed about the zombies getting a slight nerf and the retrodes, a near palette swap, didn't.
JK was broken. I was able to kill him within 30 seconds. The restructuring of the fight and his attacks directly nullified the FoV superspeed kills. Sure, I imagine some people can do it, but with my latency I get popped out of spinning charge attacks on him. His fight is now sort of easy all across the board, instead of being daunting at T1 and T2 and really easy after FoV.
Shadow Lairs? again, latency ruins me there. When the bigger spawns trigger, I'm usually half-dead before I get character control back, and that's with tailor-made gearsets.
The point is that people complain. Alot. a HUGE amount. some of us are getting sick of it. it's a blanket statement, and it's also fallacious if you're gonna be pedantic about it. What I'm hoping is that OOO's updates aren't all based singularly on the whims of a bunch of whiners.

Everything else can stay or go, makes little difference to me.

Well, I never complained about the monsters being too cheap so that OOO could cash in on etc., etc., though I admittedly would have liked for some of the monsters to have been nerfed a bit.
But as someone else here mentioned, there were some superfluous and unnecessary nerfs.
And actually, I think each one of the complaints that the OP mentioned come from different groups.

Good thing Alpha Wolvers' combo attack got nerfed. Teleporting during combo attacks was just... illegal. lol
Anyone who's complaining about the cheap attacks getting nerfed has no idea what they're talkin' about. I think you'll find most of the experienced players, or more of the logical posts are complaining about how it was nice that the cheap attacks got nerfed, but less nice that the monsters got three other nerfs on TOP of said cheap attacks, making them go from "sneaky and cheaty" to "boring and boring".
