After my Daily RJ Run, I decided to use up the rest of my 40ME to Heat Up my New(And Awesome) Mad Bomber Mask & Master Blast Bomb. I Join a Group of Wolvers(And to Let you know, I HATE Wolvers) 1 was a 2* Wolver, another Ash Tail & of course, the last one had Vog Cub.(Another thing to tell you, I'm VERY Quiet doing Runs with Strangers.) I was just waiting for them to get Ready at Moorcroft, sitting near the Elevator, while they Chat Various(Stupid) things.

1 of them starts to talk to me, starting off with "hey ironskull"(Another Iron Fun Fact: I. HATE. BEING. CALLED. IRONSKULL. Just Iron's fine.)
After a brief little Talk, we finally go down. Near the Party Pad, waiting for them, AGAIN, when one of them FINALLY just Realizes that everyone has Different Wolver Armor on...Everyone, except me. Still there, Charging my Blazebrand for the Incoming Construct, they start Crowding around me & Kick Me:

Really? Are they really that Stupid/Immature? That's it. I Officially Hate every Wolver User, 2* or Not.

You guys ever meet these types of People?

I don't think it's the armor,

I don't think it's the armor, I think it's the player base. Younger kids tend to be [jerks], especially when given anonymity. The fact that the wolver lines are considered the best swordsman armor (and are therefore used by everyone) is coincidental and has nothing to do with a player's attitude.

I know that, but...

I've never seen a Gunner or Bomber ever act this way to me or other people, just the Wolvers.

I've never met a Gunner Group Shun me because I wasn't wearing Gunslinger Gear.

I've never met a Bombing Group who make fun of me, because I own an Irontech.

Sample sizes. There are many

Sample sizes. There are many times fewer gunners and bombers than there are swordsmen, so you are therefore less likely to encounter a jerky gunner or bomber. If you took equally large groups of each (say, 500 each of gunners, bombers, and swordsmen), you'd likely find about the same number of jerks in each group.

At least I never experience this in FSC runs, heck, one of my best was me in my Grey Feather set and three random Vog Cubs.

Until we got to Vana, I was the only one not to die.

Heck, the only reason I'm making a Skolver set is for the blasted Shadow Lairs.

@Tlachtli It does when

@Tlachtli

It does when someone really is that stupid to represent their entire community like that . I'm with Iron now, this game is being ground into nothing with these "Updates" (NERFS OF TOO EASINESS) and immature kids like these. Personally, As soon as they said Kick him, I would go solo. There's no reason to have PUGs if they dont stick together. How about instead of having the Join Party option, they have a Skip to Terminal option. This would be an actually USEFUL thing. No more randoms, no more restricted groups trying to invite for a Shadow Lair.

I for one hate stereotyping, but it makes sense the way we have the people who do these thing represent us.

Still waiting for new content.

I was once kicked from a nooby party leader that was begging for crowns or CE -- right in the clockworks! Few minutes later, he booted me and I left a nice message to him. I've never heard from him since.

If the party leader kicked

If the party leader kicked you because of your look, then they deserve the title of a complete ass. However, you cannot call every single wolver user stuck up. I have met some really nice and fun to play with people, regardless of looks or skill level. That is why I have a no kick policy: I only kick people on guild runs, or if they mess with the switches qt Roarmulus after a few warnings. Other then that, I am open to anybody, including wolvers.

Let me start by saying yes,

Let me start by saying yes, those guys were idiots. You're going to find jerks like that on the internet.

But listen to yourself. You're judging a mass of players because 3 people that just happen to be wearing the most popular armor in the game were jerks to you. That's like having a guy with a different shirt than you insult you, and then hating everyone with that shirt, even though they have nothing to do with the guy that insulted you. It's stupid.

I had someone in a Snarbolax coat be a complete jerk to a friend of mine and then me. Do I hate people that wear Snarbolax armor? No, because it was the person that was a jerk, not the armor. The number of helpful players that wear Snarby gear I've seen far out way the one that has an attitude problem.

Before you ask, yes I'm a swordsman. I don't act like that. The friends I have that happen to be swordsmen don't act like that. I'm sorry you've gone through that experience, but judging everyone on the acts of one person is going to give you a really sour outlook on life.

I can't say I'm particularly

I can't say I'm particularly surprised by your conclusion, but it's still flawed.

As everyone's already said, generalizations get you nowhere. Don't let a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch - or at the very least, don't ruin your own gaming experience by avoiding those in Wolver gears just because of one bad run. I find most people on this game to be entertaining at the very least, and if they're offensive or jerks I just go solo for that run. I'll usually give any PUGs a fair shot for that reason.

Everyone else has pretty much

Everyone else has pretty much summed up what I was going to post.

There are always a-holes in games. End of story.

I was kicked for no reason in CK earlier today by our leader and he was AFK the entire time last I checked. You get over it an move on. I've had people kick me for wearing my proto gear as a costume before despite telling them otherwise and requesting they inspect me. If people are going to kick you for no given reason or silly reasons like that, then you don't want to be with them in the first place. Don't let their silly reasons ruffle your feathers.

These wolvers...

Well... I partially agree with this: As today, when I started my jelly run, I came across two guys in 2 star wolver gear (it is really the 2 star ones that bother me) and what do you know? They were complete noobs. And when the party got to the elevator the two wolvers just trolled us by running around and jumping out of the elevator just before I got on.

They kept me in that game for a good 10 or so minutes, I only stayed because I thought they were just keeping themselves busy while waiting for the arena to appear, but nope. And after that the only thing driving me to stay in with them was my only-I-can-understand-it OCD. Eventually I bribed them with the promise of CE if they step on, and they complied. They never got their CE (haha(now let the shunning begin xD), in all honestly I would never normally say something and go back on it because it would linger in my conscience(was that phrasing rather fail?) but in my opinion I think they deserved it, I only wish there was some way to report for this sort of behavior because if I were to report them for being annoying it would just say that I should ignore them.

But yeah... I too, like all of you, am against stereotyping and I know just because a couple of people who wear a common choice of armor does not account for the behavior of all others who wear that armor(and I too once wore wolver gear and in retrospect I am very pleased no one has shunned me)
I suppose I'm really posting here to vent my anger but after reading through all of the posts it has help to calm me down... a bit xD. And just to end it, I am so peeved at the two guys I unluckily met I would name and shame them, but only if you all want me to xP.

P.S. If I have somehow offended any of you, let me know and I shall apologize. And please say it in a somewhat nice way and don't go ALL-CAPS-RAGE ^^.
P.P.S. Please ignore my bad grammar(if any) xP.

That's basically saying almost everyone in SK is stuck-up/stupid, since most people own some variation of the Wolver armour, including bombers and gunners. These people are in the wrong, but your conclusion is also wrong.

Also, why do you capitalize random words? It makes me twitch every time I see a post of yours.

So like, does that mean I'm

So like, does that mean I'm allowed to dislike bombers, simply because I believe the armour looks stupid? More seriously, have you ever considered that most people started in wolver gear? What 2* bomb or gunslinger armour are there? Wait, there might be 2* bomber gear. too lazy to check. But what kind of a player would have useful bombs at that point in the game? Swords are easy to learn, easy to use, and do great damage. Aka, great for beginners. Who has ever respected a new player, no matter their politeness? It's not like some more well known names in-game and on forum, those who generally provide good information. And that is what kind of respect people like to have. What can a new player possibly provide you with?

All that metal roundness, R2D2 impersonators. Every single one of you.

i guess i kinda agree

i definately have found that almost if not all of the rude people (i sure would like to call them something else a bit less polite!) are always wolvers, now i know and have met plenty of wolvers that are nice and often entertaining people who i love to play with. and i have definately never meet a gunner or bomber who has been a to me.
Just my opinion based off my experience of my (unhealthyly) vast amount of time playing this game.

Sure those guys may have been

Sure those guys may have been some serious jerks, but you're acting just as stuck up with your own attitude.

I mean seriously, the first thing you do is come into it with the assumption that they're stupid which is going to taint your experience regardless of if it finished out nicely or not, then you get mad that one can't read your mind and know exactly how you prefer to be addressed.

People tend to reflect how they are treated if you are rude to them they're going to be rude to you, don't carry so much hate.

Heh, you probably haven't met

Heh, you probably haven't met many gunners that act like that because gunners get treated like bombers. Heck, I've been yelled at a few times for not carrying a sword in FSC and a few other areas, even by people that asked me to be a gunner. Doesn't mean all swordusers are bad, but majority thinking is the nail sticking up must be hammered down. Bombers always carry the stigma of causing lag and blinding the players, Gunners for not doing enough damage and being too cautious.

If you're a jerk in an online

If you're a jerk in an online game for no good reason, you're almost certainly going to be the type of person to equip what the community feels is the best armor. That is, Wolver.

Correlation does not imply causation.

I'm a pure gunner, possessing exactly one 5* weapon that isn't a gun (and I use Polaris as my only elemental weapon), but I really haven't ever gotten much hate. That may be because I used to solo all the time before I got higher gear, and nobody complains about full 5* people. It may be because the jerks are all young males who are attracted to my gender. Or it may be because I don't suck.

I dunno. Have fun in the game and have fun in the chat, play well and play team-consciously, and then if you do all that and people are still jerks to you you can just laugh at them for being stupid.

I sympathize with you

Based off some real-life experiences i've had. But the difference here is my assumptions were generally proven by the other a-holes like the first ones, but i'm an ash tail (took me FOREVER), and I think i'm nice to play with, with the exception of when I die too much(sporadic) and when I have lag (I tend to be in a bad mood then). Feel free to disagree if you've played with me (nicely though, or i'll embarass you on the internet). And most wolvers I meet are pretty nice, sure, some are a-holes, but i've met some a-hole bombers and gunners too, and mostly helpful ones too, can't leave that out. So, I try not to stereotype based off one experience.
