Buff Scuttlebots

In their current form, scuttlebots are less threatening than even Chromas. I know Boswick is a man of peace and shrubbery, but it's time to let the pendulum swing towards Ian's chaos and bitter tears.

I suggest:
T1: Basically like they are now. I don't hate noobs that much
T2: Fire a single slow elemental bullet with long range similar to T2 Kats/T1 puppies
T3: Fire a volley of three slow elemental bullets with long range, again similar to T3 Kats/T2 puppies

Also put the T3 scuttles into IMF, especially the boss stage with the twins. The current scuttles in the boss fight aren't much more than decoration.

I think they buffed them a

I think they buffed them a little in the last patch. I dont know why but i find them more threatining than before O_o

But they are still trash, they should give their attack a little bit more range

I like the concept of the

I like the concept of the scuttlebot as an enemy. That is, weak cannon fodder. With this being said, i dont think they should have improved firepower but rather increased speed and if possible, increased numbers. I like to think of them as those mini-spider bots from Deus Ex.

Speaking of increased numbers, it would be cool if there was an enemy that just spawned new scuttlebots, that can act like minibosses like trojans and giant lichens. The jelly run levels and FSC has their own minibosses, we can possible fit that guy in IMF

I think they should be weak as they are, but have many more numbers when they spawn, possibly at least more than 10 at a time.

I agree with Nacho on this one. While slow and weak, Scuttlebots only lack more range to be lethal. Slightly increase the range of their attack at lower depths.*

I hope they make them more

I hope they make them more durable rather than offensively powerful. Make them less vulnerable to knockback thus making them seem heavier

I suggest:
T1: Basically like they are now, except with 5X as much health, and the ability to walk through walls.
T2: Fire a long element like beam, like the retrodes do. This beam will also heal enemies, and break though blocks. Around 10 times as much health as lumbers.
T3: Turns the ground it walks on into status panels pending on its type. Fires 3 beams at the player, which steal the player's drops like the kleptolisk does, and deals fire, shock, curse and sleep to the player. Health similar to twice vana's 5th stage.

We definitely need these to be harder... Right now, they're kind of a push over.

I think they just need a slight speed boost at t3, and maybe shoot more/longer range bullets too.

I don't think they need

I don't think they need buffed at all; the game needs the grunt enemy that's weaker than everything.
Altough I do think they need to appear in increasingly high numbers throughout the tiers; by T3 they're no harder at all and appear still in too small groups; bigger spawns of them will make them...well, not scary still (being the weak enemy) but an increased danger.

And for the RT boss then yeah, I'd say they need to spawn more of them at a time.

No way, RT is just fine. It's only tier 2 remember, and those scuttlebots can grow to be a real hassle if you leave them alone.
