Dear, Spiral Knight Community, Developers And Whoever Else Looks At These Forum Posts….

My Name Is Ko, I Have Now Played Spiral Knights For About A Week. My Opinion On This Game Is Good, In Fact I Love It, It’s An Easy, Simple And It’s Easy To Lose Track Of Time Playing It. But That Can Also Be the Problem. You See, Amongst The Week I’ve Played This Game, I’ve Only Played About 40 Hours, And, I’m Already Starting To Get Bored. I’m At Tier Four Armour, Same With My Sword, And Next Will Be My Shield And Gun. But As Soon As I Reach Tier Five, All There Is To Do Is Dungeon. Now, I Don’t Know About Others, But I Get Bored Of Games When All I Do, Is Dungeon. This Is Why I Quit The Drug Called World Of Warcraft. (It’s An Addiction.) Questing Became Boring, Dungeons Became Boring, And Pvp Just Sucks. And, Well, Spiral Knights Seems To Be Nothing BUT Dungeons.
I Love The Game, And The Features Already Put In Are Alright. But As A Gamer, And A RolePlayer, I Find Some Things Could Be And SHOULD Be Improved. Mind These Are My Opinions, And Ideas, But They Could Really Profit Some Individuals Greatly.

So, Here We Go.

Pets- Almost Every RPG Has These, And The Game Economy Really Thrives On them. And Why Not? I Mean, I Don’t Know About Others, But I, Along With, Some Others I Play With,We Really Wouldn’t Mind Having A Pet Wolver, Or One Of the Lizards, Or Gremlins, Etc. It Also Allows Those Who Venture Alone To not Have To Be Completely Alone.
--Pets! Now, How About Ones That Heal? This Idea Came Around, As I Was Having Some Trouble In A Dungeon, And All I Heard Were Those Annoying Healing Butterflies, Thinking, “HEAL ME, Not The Bad Guys!” This Could Be Implied By Having Pets That Can Level, And Get Abilities. Whether it’s Healing, Carrying Objects For You, Or Some Other Things, They Could Really Become Useful. Myself, I Wouldn’t Mind Having Someone to Carry The Key ,So I Can Join The Others And Shoot Some Guy’s Face Off.

The Guild Hall.
Omg The Guild Hall…
As It Is Now, It Isn’t Realy All That Usefull… I Mean. Really, It’s Only A Place For Guildies To Chat And Have A Private Place To Plan Their Evil DOing. But Other Than That, It’s A Old, Abandoned Deck. So Why Not Jazz It Up?
PVP ARENA!—An Idea, Brought Up By One OF My Friends, And Thought About More By Me. Since There’s An Option To Have Guild VS Guild PvP Fights, Why not Have An Area That Guildies Can Actually Practice It In Peace? Plus This Would Open A Great Window For RolePlaying Guilds And In-Guild Events. IGE, Such As Mini Battles Can Allow The Leader Or Even Host To Award The Winning Team Equally With Awards. And for Role Playing, Having The Game Theme Being Knights, A Tournament Ground Is A No Brainer. Tournaments and fights Were A Big Entertainment For Kings And Such.
--Apartments… Eh Well This Is An Idea I Have Wished For In Many Games. Have A Building where Players Can Either Share, Or Have A Room To Their Selves, Customize It, And Relax. In The Main Floor There Would Be A guy At The Counter Who You Could Talk To Any Time About Your Rent Methods. Rent Could Be Done Through Crowns Or CE and Would Be Rather Cheap, Seeing As A Lot Of Money Would Be Going Towards Furniture. Rent Would Be Based On Several things, Apartment Size, number of people in the apartment, and of course, your method of crowns vs CE. Example of a room for one person would be two large rooms, a smaller room (maybe a bathroom lol) and a Bedroom that come with a small bed a chest and a wardrobe, to store your unused gear, rp things and items you might just want to put away. You could also buy extra rooms, room expansions and, if you have more than one person in your apartment, more bedrooms. Bedrooms would be locked and only accessible to their owners, unless they allow people to enter (their items would still be only accessible to the owners) Residences would band together to get furniture and make their dream home. These rooms allow places for rolepalyers to hang out. Imply a past time for dungeoners. And to let people take a break from dungeoning.
-Furniture, The furniture in the apartments allow actions to be made. Cooking at a stove, cleaning, entertainment, and even having things that allow players to have their own bazaar. Work tables and online shopping could be an easier access to crafting vendors or the auction house.

--The Actual Guild area… As It Is Now, It looks… Run down… and stuff. So why Not Add things that can be interactive. This is like the Furniture of an apartment but have a more open use. Ideas for this might be mini-games(like carnival games with in-guild score boards), vendors (like in hall items such as maybe balloons, noise makers and so on) customizable themes to change the look of the actual guild hall, etc. The wanted add-ons could be asked for by a tally system where a guild member can recommend an item to be added.

There is one thing I seem to like no matter how many times I see it, and that’s the lighting in the guild hall. I looooove the lighting.

These are just some of My ideas and suggestions, And I hope that they'll be ready, and maybe put into consideration.

Thank You
