i was helping my friend learn to fight devilites effectively in the training hall the other day, and i thought: why doesn't the TRAINING hall have the different monster types, maybe in force field cages like the shuffle-bots?

this would probably be helpful in fighting the different monsters, u dont need al the different status ones, jsut maybe the Base monster of each type(at t1 lvl) cud be added into the ATH?

please dont be mad if this has been already suggested, i havent seen it before here so i decided to make a topic :/

also, if my idea isn't good in any way please tell me, bc i don't see anything wrong with this: it doesn't take up more/less energy, it doesn't rly change any weapons, etc :)

ofc, the monsters in the training hall would have to drop nothing, or maybe drop hearts.

ty in advance, please point out and glaring/small mistakes i have made? thank you for taking the time to read this.

TL;DR: add the different monster type to the training hall so we can practice on them :)

It has been suggested

One way I imagine is to have the desk clerk in the training hall be able to pop up a panel like the Coliseum, except that it has a dropdown menu to select a monster, and a button that says Go! After selecting a monster and clicking Go!, you would be loaded into a small room (about the size of a battle arena) with a single respawner tile that spawns the monster you chose. It'd be a vanilla (non-status) depth 1 version of the monster, and you could leave the room at any time by exiting through the south (or wherever, just blocked with a force field).

Bonus: the arena can be computery-Tron-themed to emphasize that it is a simulation; for example using wireframe enemies or something on a digital-y background/backdrop.

The problem is I don't see a good way to teach how to handle higher tier equivalents- in my view, a lot of the fun is learning how to deal with T2, and then T3 in the field, on the fly. A training room is nice, but if you could practice dodging trojans and T3 rocket puppies, it makes the actual game itself less exciting. Perhaps selecting a training simulation for higher tiers costs crowns- 200cr to fight a Tier 2 sim, and 500cr to fight a Tier 3 sim.

A nice idea, I agree that the Advanced Training Hall should have more improvements.

I agree, I hope the devs put this in.
