i paid for a CTR High Sun shards bomb a couple weeks ago.. i think it was like 6k

You should keep this bomb first. Very few Sun Shards CTR VH in the game. And you will regret if the 5* version comes out in the next few patches in the coming year.
If you are really in need of CE, sell it in the range of Bacon-Strip's valuation.
I'd say around 6-8kce
