tonight i found a small room with a fountain. fire keep inspects it. doors are from south or west. what does that fountain do?

It's probably a scenario room. When these first appeared a few weeks ago, we got a lot of threads like this.
What you're describing may be the scenario room where you throw a vial at the "fountain" and coins appear. I don't know what the sentence "fire keep inspects it" means.

He means that clicking "fire"
He means that clicking "fire" will inspect it, I believe.
But aye, it'll be a scenario object; There's a fountain in a wolver den map that when you attack/inspect, you either get a crown, or you throw a crown into it , i never pay attention (a crown appears above your head, so I think you get it) but it's only a copper and only works a few times.
I don't know what you're saying. Got a screenshot? The only places I know with fountains are in firestorm citadel and the haven, and the haven one doesn't do anything.
