So I'm looking to make some crowns, have a recipe for Blazebrand and I'm curious as to the best way to produce it for maximum profit.

Thinking
Create Brandish -> Create Fireburst Brandish -> level it to 5 -> unbind it (600 energy?) -> create Blazebrand -> sell?
Just making sure this is the most effective way, still new to the game.

Thanks

The only real reason to sell

The only real reason to sell things after 3* is if you have a really good UV.
You would spend:
50CE 400Cr + Mats on brandish
200CE 1000Cr + Mats on Fireburst
400CE 2500Cr + Mats on Blazebrand
1800CE on unbind

You need someone willing to spend about 2600CE (CE + CR and Mat cost together as CE) just to break even

They could spend the same amount minus the unbind cost just by crafting themselves, so as I said, the only way to make a profit like that is with a UV like Max ASI or something else really good.

Edit: Even the recipes themselves for someone wanting to skip the cost of those, is still worth less than the 1800CE unbinding. (and still cheaper even if it WAS 600CE)

Edit: Actually, it's 1800Ce on unbind for 4*, because when unbinding it sets the weapon to level 1.

Hmm so you can't level the

Hmm so you can't level the Fireburst to 5, unbind and create Blazebrand? Or does it become bound to you when you create it?
Otherwise, you're right, it'd kind of be a waste of time.

By that I mean can you

By that I mean
can you not
>level Fireburst to 5 and
>unbind for 600CE
>create Blazebrand?

or when you create it does it become bound to you?

Oh that sucks...Still, people

Oh that sucks...Still, people sell it for 200 - 250k, there's still money to be had, no?
I mean CE alone, 115,000 should cover that. Still a decent profit if people buy it.

It sucks but it's specially

It sucks but it's specially to avoid what you want to do: unbind an item at cheap price to upgrade it and save tons of ce.

You may still get decent profit, but it requires lost of ce to unbind at that level, there's too much at risk. You may get lucky now because brandishes got popular sicne last patch, but it may not last forever.
You're on your own.

I find the best bet for

I find the best bet for profit is just play T3 and sell the 5* mats you can't afford to use. Then, when you actually do need them, buy them with your tokens since they really don't have much of a use anyways. I mean, depending on when you post them to the market you can make a lot of money on materials. A Sun Silver and Silverweave can go for 4k each (sometimes they dip way down). I've sold Ghost bells for 5k, but they are typically closer to 2k.
