I think it would be fun to have mini games on the iPhone that don't rely on the same energy. you could have them be on the world's surface instead of have them be in the clockworks. an extension of this idea could be that the spiral knights have pets, and your pets would do their own stuff on the worlds surface. its just a basic idea, it could easily be expanded or changed.
Or you could have instead of pets, they could be androids that you make or robots or robotic animals, like some of those in the clockworks. if they were small androids, you could have them ride snipes or something.

I just have one small problem, its that people without Iphones wouldn't be able to do this, so i guess there should be a computer version as well, but i don't think that it would be as good, because the iphone has the whole touchscreen thing.

No point, Just get us new levels. The upcoming mission stuff looks cool.
Also if it is like playing the game online but with pets(That word here makes me want to kill who ever said it here) woulden't work on a I pad, I phone ect.
I think this is a good idea, especially if there are pets, because it would offer pets a completely different use. pets in battle might not work as well, because they could be easily blocked off from you and get stuck, or go close to exploding blocks as you shoot at them, and programming them to stay away from things like that would be seriously hard to do, even impossible perhaps. the only other idea i had would be a pet pvp, which could also be on the iphone. I don't like the idea of using the androids instead of pets, although having an android pet group would be really cool. also, you could have it have different types as well, so their could be air travel and battles and stuff (which has no limits because we can't ever see the sky in game, so you could have partially solid clouds and stuff. the one other thing i think is important is that if the pet extension were on the surface, there would have to be the ability to jump, because there are so many things you could do with that like urban parkours (that would be so cool!). If it's going to be on the surface, another interesting thing would be to have ruins from ancient gremlin villages maybe.
