Has anyone played PSO? How awesome would it be to have a similar unique item drop system set in place?
This is how it works:
Each enemy has a specific unique item that drops from it, which would based on the color of the party leader and the difficulty of the level. So if enemy X drops a certain item for a Red player, it would drop an entirely different item for a Blue player(obviously, the same method applies for changes in difficulty). When a rare is found, it must be taken to an item identifier shop(at the cost of energy or crowns) to reveal its true nature.
So, what do you all think? :D
I wouldn't say no to new kinds of loot, but tying a drop table to a player's color? Oh no no no no no no no no no. No. No no no. Nooooooo. :(
Everyone would find out that the item they desire most in the entire game is one they have to be a color they don't even like to hope to find. Blaaaaagh.
